The game was in good shape and it was a lot of fun! Brings back memories of when I used to play!
I played TTYD first and loved it, but I wasn’t sure if I’d enjoy this game as much due to the difference in graphics. After playing, the difference doesn’t even matter, because it’s a great game!
Almost like new. Works great! Minor scratches but labels are intact. I am super stoked to play! Will definitely purchase more in the future!
A much better RPG than some of the others that have been on the Nintendo 64, *cough*THQ*cough*. Although it is written in a children’s story format, it has enough extras and a good story line to keep you entertained for hours, no matter what age you may be.I realize that this was at one time going to be a sequel to Super Mario RPG and I know that a lot of ppl like to trash this game because of Nintendo decided to call it something completely different, but its best to think of it as a completely new game since a lot of new elements are introduced in this game (badges, star pieces, etc) as well as new characters. The difference between the sequel relationship of these two games and Chrono Cross and Chrono Trigger, is that this game does not bother with making a connection to the previous Super Mario RPG game, since the game is called Paper Mario after all and not Super Mario RPG 2, also the game contains no previous characters from the first Mario RPG. Chrono Cross on the other hand made a half-baked attempt to connect to the previous Chrono Trigger game one third of the way thru, it probably would of been better if they would of made an entirely different game out of it, like Nintendo did in this situation.
Game arrived faster than expected. Works great. Game as described. Very excited to play! Thank you.
I Love this Game!!! I have been Waiting for this Moment since I Was 13. I Was finally allowed this wonderful opportunity to buy this game to replace Pokemon Snap. I’m 24 years old and I’m A BIG TIME Mario fan!!! I busted my ass persuading my mother to allow me to buy this fine game. It was this game that I Learned that Fuzzies are Parasitic. Gross. Anyway, The game starts with Princess Peach inviting Mario and Luigi to her Castle for a party. The party is interrupted when Bowser uses his castle to uproot Peach’s Castle. At the end the Castle comes back down to it’s original place:North of Toad Town.
Was absolutely amazed by this buy. It was a gift for christmas, and I expected it to be just the cartridge. It came in a still mint-condition box, with the instruction manual and everything. I was highly surprised, and the receiver was in love!
Works great, but crashes once in a while
One of the most stellar Mario games, if not the most stellar Mario game ever made. The design, the characters, the worlds, the music, the battle system, this is just the most beautiful Mario game and most fun to play. I’m 25 and have played it since I was a kid when it first came out, I never ever tire of it. If you haven’t experienced this game, I implore you to try it, it’s loads of fun and a true masterpiece.
This is probably my favorite game for the N64 since Super Mario 64. It was a very new and innovative way to make a Mario RPG while at the same time not being a remake of Super Mario RPG. You really have to think on your feet with this game, but it isn’t so bad that you are in trouble terribly often; there’s still a multitude of ways to prepare for things. One of the greatest things about this game is its dialogue. Everyone feels like a real character and they have distinct personalities, and of course it has great humor. I’ve played through this game 3 times now; once when I beat it on the cartridge I bought when it came out, once on the Virtual Console on the wii when I bought it to replace the stolen cartridge, and once on the replacement cartridge I bought when my Wii was stolen. And later down the line I’ll probably play through it on my new Everdrive.
