A must have for my collection. I remember this game when I was much younger being so popular and having to wait to get a turn at the arcade to play. Back then the whole cabinet moved and the speakers on each side of your head.Man I would kill everyone on this game.This is an update of the original but it is still faithful to the original in the fun factor.Arrived on time, new like listed. Would buy from this vendor again.Satisfied customer.
The disc is as good as promised, but took quite a while to receive it though. For 1st time recent Xbox 360 owners (such as myself, I bought the system just for this game alone,lol) , you need a network adapter for the Xbox 360 to go online to do a simple minor update that recognize the playback compatibility since this is a "XBOX" game. I was lucky to grab one around my area for $25. (Hard to get those wireless adapter for a decent price nowadays)

Emulation is sub-par on the xbox 360 so you should really run this on your OG xbox. This game is fanastic, the graphics are a little better than coast 2 coast and the music is just amazing. This game has really held up well after all these years.
THIS IS A MUST HAVE FOR ANY FAN OF FERRARIS…I BOUGHT IT AS SOON AS IT CAME OUT, AND IT IS BY FAR ONE OF THE BEST STRAIGHTFORWARD RACERS OUT THERE….YOU CAN PLAY RACING GAMES ALL DAY, BUT NOTHING BEATS THE ORIGINAL OUTRUN, AND THIS IS JUST THAT, WITH ALL THE NEW & OLD FERRARIS, (WELL NOT ALL OF THEM, BUT THE MOST POPULAR OF COURSE)THE ONLY THING I REALLY THINK IS LACKING WOULD BE MORE CARS AND/OR UNLOCKABLES, THAT WOULD HAVE BEEN COOL TO DRIVE AN OLD FERRARI INDY CAR OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT, BUT OVERALL, I WAS MORE THAN SATISFIED WITH THIS TITLE, EVEN THE XBOX LIVE IS KINDA FUN, ALTHOUGH GETTING SMOKED THROUGHOUT A WHOLE RACE IS KINDA LENGTHY…ANYWAY, IF YOURE A FERRARI AFICIONADO, OR EVEN A CAR GUY AT ALL, YOU SHOULD BUY THIS…
I’m one of those people who pumped their child-life’s savings in to various OutRun arcade machines. If this was you too, stop reading right now, don’t waste time being ashamed for not already owning this game, and go buy it! This game is an excellent follow-up to the best arcade racing game of all time. If you’re a realist you won’t like the physics-busting crashes and this game is probably not for you. If you just like to play and enjoy, get OutRun 2. With original arcade mode, heart attack mode, missions, time trials, features to unlock and the awesome music there’s plenty to do here. I guarantee OutRun 2 will keep your attention long enough to more than pay for itself.
