I bought this for my son. IĆ¢ā¬ā¢m going to assume that he enjoyed since he played it every day for a week straight clearing all of the boards.
As described and pictured. Will buy product again. Came in brand new packaging and plastic nor seal was broken. Great birthday gift!!! No glitches or scratches on disc.
My kids wanted a racing game because they’d seen me playing my own racing game, so I was excited when I found this one. It took them a little while to get the hang of the game, but they figured it out pretty quickly and now they love playing it. The controllers were a little hard to work with, so I bought them a steering wheel, which helped tremendously. They’ve been playing for a while and they haven’t even made a dent in this game. They never get bored with it, so that’s a plus!
Great alternative to Mario cart for Xbox. Best of all it works on 360 and Xbox one.
Awesome graphics. My daughter turned 6 and this is her very first video game. She LOVES it. It is easy enough for her to play on her own without much help/supervision after getting it set up.
while sonic generations was great… sonic 4 ep. 2 did not really suit me. when i heard about this game,i wondered if it will be good. and it was more than good! let us start the review! sound and music. this game is chock full of memories when it comes to music and stages. great remixes (seaside hill is my fave)but if you want the original music, watch outgraphics, gameplay, and camerathe graphics are very good when it mixes old and new school. the gameplay is great, just a lot of things are going on. the camera is perfect. nuf saidreplayibilitylike any racing game, the replayibility is high. there are a lot of modes to choose from!dificulltythis game is pretty hard. if you do not like a challenge, just stick to c classverdictthis is a great game for many people but if like easy modes and original music, start of with the first one10 out of 10. go and by it, it is amazing.
Have you ever been playing Mario Kart and wished you could have all the fun but with a little less shananigans of blue turtle shells and the like ruining things for the good drivers? Well this is a game for you. This is fun and cartoony but leaves something on the table for those of us that can drive their butts off. I like family fun but I like a challenge as well. This game will give you a challenge!. I have had it a week and I am still loving it as I unlock new characters. THIS IS NOT YOUR GIRL FRIEND’S MARIO KART! A couple of races and you will say the same. Fun will be had by all. Get all the other Sonic games out of your mind (Free Riders). This game rocks. I’m 38. ;>)
Talk about nostalgic, I used to play sonic with my little brother when I was a kid. Now I get to play with my son. He LOVES this game.
I bought Sonic ASRT to have a multiplayer x-box game that didn’t involve shooting people. Even the skeptics among my friends, who thought they’d hate it, have come to enjoy playing it for hours when I come over. The maps are visually interesting and range from moderately challenging to very difficult. Besides straight racing maps, the career mode also throws in a variety of challenges to mix things up. Some of these challenges are actually more fun than the actual races (in my opinion of course). The transitions between cars, boats, and planes keep the game fresh, interesting, and challenging. As for multiplayer abilities, the game lets you play up to 4 players through the entire career mode. Players can join in and drop out at will, and a level is passed as long as one player meets the race/challenge requirements. Also, you can do up to 4 players in circuit race, which pits the players against computers just like in career mode, except that this time each player (human and computer) is given points based on how they place in each of 4 or 5 races. The player with the most points at the end wins. Now for the reason I only gave it 4 stars. As far as I can tell, the game doesn’t have a "Team Circuit Race" option where 4 players could join up with a couple computers and share points while racing a circuit against another team of computers. This means that my multiplayer options are limited to career mode and circuit race. Circuit race isn’t cooperative, and makes it feel lik.
XBOX 360 ARCADE DEMO AVAILABLE FOR FREE: Before my review, I wanted to make it clear that Xbox live Arcade has a free demo available for download that allows to to play a race, and another “boost” game mode on a different track as Sonic. Why read the reviews when you can give it a try yourself? (The final product’s menu screens appear more polished looking in the final product. Also, there was one case in the demo I finished first on that hard setting and the next screen said I finished 2nd… I have not seen such a glitch in the real game.)FYI, BONUS CONTENT INCLUDES: Download code for: Outrun Bay track + Challenges and Time Trials, Metal Sonic & Transforming vehicle + Metal Sonic Mod Pack, Stickers for your in-game driver’s license.POSSIBLY RELEVANT BACKGROUND INFO: I discovered this game by chance – and upon discovery, was very excited being a former Mario Kart and Sonic player. I’m 27 years old, and my Mario Kart experience ended after N64 (with some Wii play at friends sporadically). After having seen the first Sonic and Sega All Stars Racing game was such a success, and couldn’t find a single negative review on this game (except by some Nintendo magazine…which was obviously biased), I immediately ordered two copies (one for a buddy/his wife). It’s unfortunate I never knew the first game existed – and I wasn’t willing to try it out considering it’s priced higher currently (360 version) and this game is two years newer, and improved in nearly every way from wh.
