I thought id reviewed already, but here goes. Not your typical ninja game, as most are stealth, this one is more the action side of things, tons of weapons, some special powers, projectiles, and level kind of puzzles. Think ol school brawlers (final fight) meets 3D as a ninja. Cool art to be seen but not cool enough to forget it takes awhile to load as you look at it (load screen). Fast paced and fun, easy controls and cool lvl design. One other thing is graphics, moderate maybe for ps1, but just bad by todays standards when some ps1’s still hold up better. But that is overlookable as it doesn’t hinder gameplay, and is so much fun to play, your just a bad azz ninja. In short bad grfx, long loads, but still so worth being this ninja.
This game will break your spirit and drag you to the brink of insanity. I can’t recall ever playing a more difficult Playstation One game as a kid back then or an adult today. If you crave challenge in your games, Ninja is the perfect game for you. I consider this game akin to an old school Dark Souls because of its difficulty and challenge, but it’s all fair and fun to play. If you beat this game without cheating, you’re a gaming legend! At this cheap price, you would be remiss to pass up on this great hidden gem.
Nostalgia at its finest! If you like old school beat ’em up games with a mixture of platforming and puzzles, then this game is for you.
I loved this game as a child and I love it now. Very happy to have purchased this. Story is interesting, bosses are interesting, gameplay is hella. Very dark and creepy, I love it. Eidos really had it going on in the 90’s.The game came quickly, but the case was splattered with barbecue sauce. Like, really? You couldn’t have just cleaned the sauce off before sending it? That’s pretty disgusting. I don’t know where your barbecue has been. I don’t know if you were sucking on the game after barbecue chicken. Yet I had to clean it anyways.Totally worth it though.
Came to me faster than expected. Game had little to no scratches on it. Worked perfectly. Very happy and satisfied.
I used to love this because the graphics were great with the best cenery seen in a Ninja game on the PLAYSTATION. The problem is you collect power ups for your shurikuns(throwing stars)that make them pretier and powerfuler, when you die you have to look for more treasure chests as you progress through the game.I’ve recently bought NINJA GAIDAN for XBOX and that game reminded me of this with the great cenery and graphics.
Hi there. I love this game, for the fact that it has all these little extra surprises. Wether it is opening a treasure chest, or the chuckle I get each time I splice a skelleton in half, and it’s lower body half is still kicking me. Too funny. The game does have its irritating part, where it is just a bit too difficult, but at least there are several safepoints along each level. The cheat codes for this game are too cool as well. I suggest that if you buy the game, you look them up. The magic move actually turns into a big ole thunder/lighting that eliminates everyone in close proximity. And for the price, this game is definately worth a shot. I may not be a die-hard playstation nut, but I sure like playing this ninja game best, out of the 20+ games we own.

I can’t complain about this game because it’s a fun game for me at least. I had this game as a child but I never got to play the whole game because of how frustrating it was to just get through the 3rd level. It was fun nonetheless and an awesome game. Not recommended for those who don’t like hard to maneuver controllers, extremely hard levels as you progress, spontaneous monsters/ people who appear out of absolutely nowhere off screen and/or Ninjas. This game is a classic and generational understanding.
