Great product, worked as expected
NFL street 2 Unleashed is a beautiful, brilliant example of what Sony’s new baby the PSP has to offer. It combines hardcore gridiron action action, with gameplay as smooth as butter. There are many types of game modes to choose from including: Own the city, where you must create your own pimped out player, pull together a team from your hood, and dominate the streets one field at a time. Be sure to choose your players wisely. The game is also accompanied by hot new tracks from some of your favorite hip-hop artists. The fun never really ends until your eyes shrivel down to grapenuts, or your battery dies. (Pesky battery.)
This game is hard hitting and exciting. It is hard to put down.
I grew up playing footbal in the street. I wish I had this much fun. Very good game, brought back memories of my youth…just wish I could have done half the stuff that’s in this game. From the jumping off walls to the very entertaining Gamebreaker 2’s. If you ever played football in the street, this is a game you should get.
Turn on the game breakers, taunt the s*** out of your opponents and do everything in your teams power to win big and make the other team look like some damn fools. Great fun for the PSP. Buy it…
this game is really good, its better then the console version!! its load time is a little slow and it has a bug where u cant get on to the internet with it, but there are more street events and like 5 more fields!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Awesome game from back in the day, great purchase for an older football fan.
I got friends who have PSPs ( I have yet to get one, but I am on christmas. ) And I gave him my DS at lunch for his PSP. I played this game, cuz it was the only one he liked. I played it and I immediately noticed the graphics were good, and not so good, but I’d say they are ‘better than they are worse’. Anyways, I’ve played the consol versions. Sure they were good, but definitely got repetetive after a few games in a row. The PSP version has some good songs in it, has decent graphics and sound, as well as decent gameplay. Why? The PSP version doesn’t have the same kind of things in it as consol versions. I don’t know why.. anyways this is still a great game for a fan of the series or of NFL Blitz ( N64,PS1,PS2,Xbox )
NFL blitz is alive and well on the PSP. Only this time it is called NFL Street 2, and it is a little fancier. First the ugly: this game takes 15 hours to load each game. Not really, but that is what it feels like when you just want to play a quick game. The other ugly thing is that it seems a bit difficult to remember what all of the buttons do. So, though it is fun to do a crazy pitch to the running back or a behind the back throw to a receiver 50 yards away, you can never remember that you now have to control the running back or the receiver with a whole new set of controls. This is seen as a positive thing by many that believe the more complex the game, the more shelf life it will have in a collection. Now, the ugly said, this game is fun enough to last forever in your game collection. Does football ever get old? Then a game that is football on steroids done pretty darn well should not either. Finally, the mini-games are worth mentioning with games of smear the queer and 500 that are just loads of fun. There are a couple of others, but the two mentioned are the only games worth much.Bottom Line: Is it fun? Get this fun football game. Will I keep it? I plan on keeping it as long as I have a PSP. Is it for kids? Is any PSP game for kids?
