The game is fully tested & guaranteed to work. It’s the cartridge / disc only unless otherwise specified.
It’s called The Run. An illicit, high-stakes race across the country. The only way to get your life back is to be the first from San Francisco to New York. No speed limits. No rules. No allies. . Thrills and excitement hide around every corner of this breakneck race across the country, but so do the police ā and the men who want him dead. Evading these ruthless forces in one town won’t be enough. You must have the Need for Speed. The cars are hot, the racing is intense and the story will have you at the edge of your seat – all the way from the Golden Gate Bridge to the Empire State building.

The game could have been longer, but the scenery, and the driving aspect will make you play it multiple times.I also enjoy watching my grandsons play so I have time to take in the amazing graphics. The driving mechanics is still a little archady, but better than some previous NFS games. The story line is week ,but it’s a racing game ,you don’t need a story to drive fast.
Daughter loves it
My son enjoys playing this game. He spends hours playing it with his friends. The product came in good timing because he bought an Xbox with his own money and then the game to go with it. He was happy when he got the game so that he could play it.
Awesome game. The Run itself is fun, then add the challenges and online modes and its a great value. Load times are a bit slow, but if you’re really gonna bitch about that, hook up a Sega Genesis and be happy with where games are at today.
A very fun NFS game. I loved the differnt terrains and scenery. Much better than just city street racing. It is kind of like a game version of cannonball run. I love the NFS games and this one doesnĆĀØt disappoint.
Kid approved!
A race across the country from San Fran to NYC, with many stops along the way. Simply put the concept is an updated Cruisin USA. Which is not a bad thing at all. Point to point racing with a few surprises thrown in here and there to keep it fun and from getting boring. I love the game and would play it again through the story multiple times.Great graphics and physics. The cars handle as they should to be realistic but not so hard that it isn’t fun. You can really get a sense of the power under the hood in each vehicle. Great car selection too. Beamers, Lambos, Porsches, Aston Martins, Nissans and many more. There isn’t a lot of depth here for free roaming or customization, but there isn’t supposed to be. So if that’s what you like in a racing game, go elsewhere.Mainly I love this game because it reminds me of all the old racing games from the N64 era and how they were plain old fun, without all the complications. Except this is HD graphics and a lot more detailed landscapes. A good amount and variety of terrain on the tracks as well. Dirt roads, asphalt, snow and plenty of hidden shortcuts and alternate routes to seek out.
he likes the game
Good condition.
I will admit, I have not played the story since I got the game. The only thing I did was play the limited edition content to get a feel for the driving in the game. And instead of using rewind when I messed up, I restarted the whole race, suffering because the load times are long. Thats how I learned to drive more careful. lol And if I didn’t get a platinum trophy.. or whatever they are I kept restarting until I did. Then I jumped to online gameplay. Compared to NFS Most Wanted and ProStreet, this one has the best online experience. Lets be honest, in Most Wanted if you didn’t drive that BMW online, you lost. In Prostreet, if you didn’t drive the camaro for drag racing (and had it tuned properly) or a zonda or lamborghini for speed runs, unless that person crashed, you lost. In this nfs there is no dominate car, it all depends on you. You have to know if your car is suited to take that shortcut onto the dirt road or is it best to stay on track. I also like how your notorious fills up faster depending on your race position. Can’t count how many times I won a race because everyone keep fighting for first, running each other into walls or off the road and I just fly pass them. Overall.. based on my online experience, I am happy with my purchase.
