Buy this game. This is another great release in the game and it just keeps getting better. Any kid would love to get into this and spend hours competing with their friends on this on!
First of all I’m an avid sports video gamer and I really liked this game and I can’t see why so many people didn’t like it. In my opinion, I thought this was better then ’10 & ’11 which seems to have better graphics and additions to Road to Glory and Dynasty. I bought mine used and it is kind of frustrating video game developers have you pay money to get online access for their games, but unless you don’t play online then what’s the point. For the Road to Glory I liked how they added a full High School season to play until the playoffs and for the Dynasty I liked how you can finally edit a conference to add teams or even rename divisions in the conference. Now the only problem that I have is that the game sometimes freezes during game play and also the text in some parts of the menu looks very blurry, but other than that this is a great game and I would recommend it.
I have been a big fan of this franchise for years, but one thing that has been a legitimate criticism is that the game remains essentially the same each season with some nominal new features. For example, they brought back the Mascot vs Mascot Game a few years ago and tried to make it seem like it was cool and new. It wasn’t cool in 2003 when I first saw it and it’s not cool now. That had to be said upfront to emphasize the point that this game has some cool new features that make it worth the upgrade from NCAA 11. With all the recent mobility of teams from conference to conference, the ability to create custom conferences is very cool. Along with that you can also strip a conference’s BCS tie in and award it to another conference. The other major feature(s) that I like are the all new coaching features. The coaches and Coordinators are now included in the roster files so that they can be named just like the players. Coaches have goals to meet or risk being fired. Coordinators can take new jobs (laterally to the same position at a new school or vertically to a head coaching position). This adds a lot of replay value after I become tired of actually playing the games.Every year I say I will skip the new game and continue playing the old one. I’m glad that this was not the year that I finally followed through.
The graphics are good enough and the gameplay deep enough that I still enjoy playing it years after its initial release.
Purchased this for a friend and he plays it all the time.
I loved this college football simulation game for PlayStation 3, graphics on the game is great, real-life football stadiums with really great lighting in any stadiums includes: Bill Synder Family Football Stadium, Reser Stadium, Autzen Stadium, Darrell K. Royal Texas Memorial Stadium, Gaylord Family Oklahoma Memorial Stadium, Michigan Stadium and more. TV broadcast style presentation with ESPN is good, the pageantry of college football comes to life. Road to Glory is great game mode to see yourself become from high school football player to a college football legend, On and Offline Dynasty Mode is still the best game mode in the game, take a shot for everything, bragging rights, conference champions, Heisman Trophy winner and a National Champion of college football. And awesome online feature is upload and download rosters with the actual NCAA Football players, like an example: Alabama Crimson Tide QB #10 [A.J McCarron] or USC Trojans QB #7 and CB #7 [Matt Barkley and TJ McDonald].
Came on time and in the original packaging, nice!
Awesome game
This is the best football game I have ever played. The new features are awesome! You are able to create your own playbook, coach, and start your career from High School.
as with all of them they play them until they are bored and keep going back to it so it must be good
