GRAPHICS: look a bit updated from previous year. as to be expected.GAMEPLAY: they slowed down the speed of the game to keep it more realistic. generally i see people here giving bad scores/reviews because they are not happy with the new madden. its a bit different but for all intentions is MORE REALISTIC.CONTROLS: not much different than before.——they included now a online franchise mode which is a big plus. the overall presentation is made to be more like you are watching a real football game on TV, with such things as refs and crowds, halftime highlights etc. the commentating is still pretty annoying at times or just plain dull. they definitely wanted to go back to the roots by creating a game that is closet in madden history to looking and playing like the games you see on your big screen TV. as for those saying its the same as 09, how much change do you really expect every year? the thing is madden has a big loyal following and most probably don’t care what others think and will buy it anyways to see for themselves
People will always complain about something when things don’t go there way like losing a game.After you lose or if your star player gets injured,then the game is crap(OMG,WTF).Madden 10 to me has to be the BEST MADDEN EVER and I don’t even care if I have to pay another $10 for the Madden 10 Max Pack DLC,its worth it.Yeah,most of the time these would be cheats off a website,but it’s not(NOT)mandatory or required for you to buy the DLC to enjoy the game.retrolio.com reviewers gave this game a 3 star rating with over 30 votes,but people who play this game on the 360 gave it 5 stars with over 30,000 reviews and I believe them.I suggest this,if you are just gonna give Madden a 3 or less star rating because of little this and that(DLC cost,losing a ranked match,etc.)then just stop playing the game.People are only reviewing this game 3 stars because they see that is what the majority is rating(with no REAL reviews).The Extra Point alone stands out on the game as well as the entertainment,graphics,concept,sound,playability and replay value – all of these that Game Informer has mentioned(Sept.2009,Issue 197).If you love Madden or hate it think about this,EA owns 2K so you will not see another good NFL licensed game for a LONG time,so deal with it- Once again,BEST MADDEN EVER!

Since others on these reviews don’t seem to get much on here. I’m gonna join that club for a minute. Every year Madden has a new game that comes out. The same people that criticized every little thing from the size of Tom Brady’s nose to their inability to play NFL Blitz with all exaggerated to their advantage in the Madden games are the same one’s that get on here and whine about this year’s game also. I don’t get it! Why do you buy a game to nitpick it death. Play the game,have fun people,it does not matter if you don’t like how Tony Romo looks in the game,who cares! I buy these Madden games every year and guess what I just have fun playing them. I do not look for petty little things that are not important to write a review about griping cause I can’t do what I want to do in the game and I’ll never waste my money again. The problem with this game is it is too realistic for some people and the simple truth is they can’t play it so they nitpick it death. This is probaly the best game in the series. EA done alot of revamping and redoing that made this more true to the NFL and the real game of pro football. You make a mistake as a QB in this game and throw a bad pass or make a wrong read chances are you are going to get picked or sacked just like real football. No power ups, no mushrooms that make u invinsible in this game. Welcome to Madden NFL football.
Great game, really enjoyed playing every part of it. If you haven’t gotten a Madden game in the past couple years I definitely recommend this one!
Even though it is a little diffcult to learn this game is a source of hours of entertainment. I got this game used but in great condition.
I purchased this video game for my 13 year old grandson. He has enjoyed playing with his friends. He added this to his collection of the other Madden video games

Madden 10 is a must have game if you like football, graphics are good, game play is excellent. You get to relive madden moments
