This game is awesome. Don’t listen to the negative press reviews at all! If you like SRPGs, tactic games or a challenging game you can really dive into then this is for you. If your a gamer that likes depth and a challenge this is amazing for your strategy itch. This is probably my favorite game on the Vita. And if you’re scared, there is easy mode.This is also for you if you liked Demon Souls as it has a similar vibe. Overall the characters are all unique, voice acting is nice, graphics are crisp on the vita, and the gameplay is AMAZING! You really get to perfect your strategies.I wish they’ll make a Natural Doctrine 2. I would preorder it. It’s a shame that the reviewers suck at startegy games or gave up too easily. This is THE hidden gem on the Vita.A MUST own for any RPG fan, strategy fan, Vita collector or hardcore gamer
So far so good. Slightly different than i expected graphics wise and gameplay wise but its still a blast!
I’ve been playing Natural Doctorine for a while. Initially I had very low expectations, but the game was exactly what I wanted it to be.It is a rather complicated SRPG, with a weird story and likable characters. It looks like a combination of Gungnir and Phantom Brave. There are walls of texts that are occasionally obstructing your view, but that is not really the point. Also these texts are easy to read on Vita’s screen. The graphics are not over the top, but pleasing to the eye.This game knows its audience and does not try to please other players. If you like a game like Gungnir, you will enjoy ND. If you are a casual JRPG player or only tried simpler SRPGs such as Disgaea 4, this might be a good game to get your feet wet, but it might also overwhelm you as well.Also you can choose between Japanese/English voice-acting/subtitle which is a plus.
If you have the choice between the 3 different versions of this game, I recommend getting this version for the value.
Yeahhhh finally a hardcore tactical rpg
I really like this game, and wish more like it had been produced for the PS Vita. It’s a TBS (Turn-Based Strategy) that is very challenging, so maybe before you buy make sure to check into it on Youtube for Gameplay and Reviews…because from experience i know this isn’t everyone’s "Cup of Tea". If you like this game then you might like Frozen Synapse and Xcom too (which are only available on Digital Download) and i only mention that because if your a TBS Fan, then you a very limited on good games for that genre.

Good game, entertaining and engaging it tends to get a bit repetitive at the end game but is to be expected on this genre
IGN critic rating for Natural Doctrine is a joke!! I could write twenty paragraphs about how great this game is, I will spare the time and simply hollar out to the hardcore strategy game fans, this game was made for you. Pull your hair out, bash in your teeth, whatever you do don’t throw your Vita at the wall.
