I enjoy playing this game, to drive the cars with the braces on the front bumpers. This game is called Nascar 2011: The Game, but the cars in it, are from the 2010 Season. However Xbox gave a free download of the 2011 Season Cars. You end up having a choice to play with either the 2010 Season or 2011 Season Cars.
Not a bad game. Nothing over the top. If you are looking for a decent NASCAR game with solid lengthy game-play and not too much to worry about when playing this is a good choice. This game by far is no Forza or Need For Speed, so keep that in mind.
I’ve played this game for the last two weeks and while I like everything in the career mode and quick race mode, the online version is terrible. You online choices are “quick race” where you are essentially thrown into a race without knowing what track, how many laps, etc. until you enter the room or “Custom Race” where you set up the race you won’t but everyone that joins has no clue until they enter whether they like the race or not. I like the 2009 NASCAR game where you could at least choose what race you wanted to join and knew all the settings before you got into the game. Another annoyance is that every time someone enters, the game countdown clock resets. It could be 10 minutes before it finally allows you to start the race! Very disappointing, especially with the great job they have done on the visuals and sound.
I’ve played just about every Nascar title across the PC-playstation-xbox platforms. There’s been some good, bad, and ugly. I’d put this one in the good grouping. You can pick it up and play, it has great graphics/sounds, and with good ol patch #3 it’s been glitch free for me. I’ve also bought the downloadable content for some extra goodies and updates from the 2011 season.It’s not NR2003 which so far is the apex of Nascar racing games but NTG2011 does deliver. I’ve given this game around 10 hours of my life and it’s been fun. Car physics and racing are solid (little flakey in online play). The paint shop goes way further into detail then I’d ever need but may be fun for others. I’ve only had it freeze on me once (during a loading screen). There are many “unlockables” and game modes to keep things fresh. Luckily I had never touched the game before last week as I’ve read horrid reviews from previous versions of the game before and in between patches 1+2.I only paid $28 for this title and it’s worth it. I purchased it “used” from the retrolio warehouse and it came in near mint condition. This game runs for $34ish at Gamestop.
game is fun but was not really worth the money, game has alot of flaws and freezes up every 20 to 25 minutes.
This is a really fun game. I was very displeased with previous NASCAR releases for the 360, so when I stated playing this one I was very happy. The only thing that is annoying about this game is the menu navigation. It often needs to load going from one menu to another and things that should be quick take a long time. The actual game play is outstanding, however, there are issues with the spotter and caution flags. The spotter is useless as he is often delayed on giving information and caution flags do not always come out when the need to. Also, there is a new version of this game coming out shortly.
Cool game. Graphics are good. My favorite paint sceame is the Taco Bell David Gilliland. Awesome game! Best game since NASCAR 2005. EA has gone back to their roots. Hopefully NASCAR 2012 Inside Line will be as good as this. BUY THIS GAME!!!!
