I’ve loved every minute of this game so far. I suppose it depends what you’re buying it for. I don’t mind running a career here and there but I bought this to play online against human AI. Most of the negative stuff I’ve read so far is about customizations and options and maybe some of it’s true (right now). But these games are always being patched and updated so it wouldn’t surprise me in the least to see those areas addressed down the road and in the near future. The graphics are amazingly nice and the amount of detail that went into the tracks and audio is astonishing. The cars aren’t that hard to drive or control but in certain areas, knowing how to drive is a must. I’ve been running Daytona only on GT5 so I can’t wait to tackle some tracks I know nothing about. These other Bozos who voted must be smoking something funny. There’s no way this game deserves 1 star ratings. This is why people don’t take you jackwad reviewers seriously. This game has been on the shelves for 12 hours and you’ve already decided it’s garbage. Ha Ha HaListen people…If you love Nascar racing, you will enjoy playing this game. Especially if you enjoy running REAL races online with a good group of guys who also know how to race. Can’t wait to go back and play some more. Peace**Next Day Edit: You know what all these bad comments / reviews remind me of?It’s like the kid that’s been waiting all week for his birthday party. Parents got him a huge cake, they did a cookout, invited 15 of his friends over,.
Love this game.very realisticable to customize your own carfun to play and exciting to crash! If you’re a NASCAR fan, I would recommend it!
I bought this because I thought my son and I could play this together. He’s five. He’s not bad, he gets frustrated easily however. I think if I bought a steering wheel it would be easier for him. Some tracks are gonna be way too tough…but I can see him getting better if he’ll hang with it. I thought the game is perfect…if you want the experience, you can make this game as easy or as hard as you want. That is the biggest key to me with any video game…I want to be able to play it with little frustration…get good, and then increase difficulty if I choose. This game allows this to happen!

liked it.
If you enjoy NASCAR get it. Best NASCAR game ever. Great graphics and sound. Steering wheel adds to fun factor.
Great game
The youngster and I have a copy each, so race each other. Some frustrating elements, such as how long pitting takes on multiplayer, but on the whole really good game.
I think the game is great and I like it a lot, yes there is room for improvements too. compared to previous nascar games (I have), this one is a huge improvement.Graphics: they are good, but I also own GT5 and if you compare it to GT5 you know it could be better.Wheel: I use it with a Logitech wheel and the game gives you great feedback on the traction, loose (over steering) tight (under steering). in my mind I think it does a good job there and you can feel how much traction you have in the corners and if you will hit the wall or not.when a yellow comes out it takes you to the video of the thing, I don’t like that but is ok not a big deal.I was going to give 4 starts but why not 5, I’m having fun with it.* they said before releasing the game that there will be a free upgrade to change the game to the 2011 season and get the new track, don’t think is out yet, waiting for it.Thanks,
I have to agree with pretty much everything VENOM wrote in his review – this is a good ARCADE game, but NOT a SIMULATOR. The best NASCAR SIM game ever put out was those that came out from Sierra back in 2000/2001, etc. – the graphics on this game are better, but for overall experience, the Sierra sims were the best.PROS: great graphics, pretty good damage, a full field of 43 cars, and it’s NOT an EA game (EA SUCKS).CONS: Massive wrecks slow gameplay – something I’d read was supposed to be flawless in this version. It seems that a caution more often than naught comes out fairly easily for every car except the player. Usually when I get wrecked, the only way a caution gets thrown is if I drive in the wrong direction on the track (it’s the quickest way to get a yellow). There’s no spotter support, no crew chief interaction, and the arcade-style HUD is a bit irritating. With this said, the game is still fun to play – at least enough to finish a season. The extra challenges are OK (the drafting challenges are ridiculous, but the gauntlets are fun). What the hell is Danica Patrick, Jennifer Jo Cobb, and other Nationwide drivers doing in a game that is nothing but Cup? I am guessing it’s to try to reign in some female gamers, but most women that like NASCAR don’t really route for female drivers, they’re all about Tony Stewart or Dale Jr. That’s not a knock against Danica or Jennifer, but it’s just a truthful observation. What I’d like to see eventually is something akin to a NASCAR Le.
