PLEASE READ THIS. Everyone wants to ignore this little gem because it was the last Nascar title to be released on the now deceased PS3, and all anyone was looking at was the PS4 and what it could do. That and I don’t believe that the people who have reviewed it understand Nascar in general. The graphics are very nice, and the control is almost perfect. The AI is not even in that you will have passed a car, seen it behind you for a lap, and all of a sudden it’s closing in on you. Most Nascar games that I have played suffer from that. I didn’t play the "Quick Race" very much because I prefer the "Career Mode". In Career Mode, you start out almost in last place (real) and have to work to drive hard and clean from race to race and only advance a bit at a time in overall standings, but this is how Nascar really works! I am not a super fan of Nascar, but a long running fan of the games and I’ve played them on most of the previous systems, and this one sits nicely on top. It’s just a shame that it is the last entry in the PS3 Nascar games, because it is a lot of fun. It would have been more fun with other race circuits involved, but for being all about Sprint Cup, it is fine the way it is. I hope this review helps, because there is no other reviews online anywhere online, and that made it hard for me to chose. Glad I bought it, and hope you do too!
