Muppet Monster Adventure is a great family game that kids will love. Gameplay is easy enough, and the length of gameplay time is decent- the fact that you need a certain amount of “tokens” before you can move on (even if you’ve finished the level) gives the game a free-form treasure hunt kind of feel. In the game, you play as Kermit’s nephew, who needs to save all his muppet friends from being kidnapped and mutated into different monster hybrids. The characters and storyline is fun and lovable and the power-ups found in the game are unique and well used. The difficulty level is pretty low, but then again, it is a children’s game. Being an older Sony title, the graphics are well… less than impressive, but the clever story and challenging puzzles and time trials will keep you and your kids hooked. Great product!
This game is AWESOME!!! I bought this for my kids who like the Muppets and ended up playing it myself. As I had never heard of this title before I guess I just assumed it would be one of those bad commercial type video games who’s only merit is the popularity of the characters it was crafted for. This was not at all the case. Allthough based on the common multi-level world adventure genre it has it’s own unique flair. The overall graphics are excellent in 3D and brilliant colors and the feel, if you have played them, is similar to the Spyro Dragon games. If your a Muppet fan you’ll enjoy it all the more. While it has it’s challenges it’s not so hard that a child of five cannot get through it with a little practice also. It has a spooky theme (I bought this as a halloween game for my kids) it is non violent and more cute than actually scary. Wokka wokka werebear (fozzy), Gonzo as Nosferatu the vampire, and Kermonster Kermit, head the list as level bosses for this imaginative and HIGHLY ADDICTIVE game. This is definately one of my family’s favorites in our game library.
This video game is worth it’s weight in gold. Pepe the KING PRAWN really sells this game. I love the narrations, and the overall game play. BUY!
Fun game was so much fun, as a muppetologist I enjoy this kind of stuff, my little boy likes the game too. The game is similar to all the other 3D platform games that have been produced for the past 15 years but hey it’s the Muppets. This is also really fun because it was before the Disney takeover of the Muppets, which I have mixed feelings about.
We have two small boys, and they can’t get enough of this game. It has muppets, monsters, games, and great animation. it is probably best played with your child, as some parts are probably too challenging for younger players, but the game is great fun, and I highly recommend it!!!!!!!
My girlfriend got this game because she loves the Muppets. I was a bit skeptical at first, but now I play it more than she does. We’re both in our mid-20’s and we don’t have a lot of time to play games with our schedules, but when we do it’s quite entertaining and can be a great stress reliever. It can provide hours and hours, days…weeks…years of enjoyment because the levels are so expansive and there are quite a few of them. I enjoy this game a lot and the only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because I haven’t finished the game yet.
