Came in with the disk loose in the case even though it was sealed, (lucky there were no scratches) the back of the case has a little rip in the plastic cover and the case lining is a little off, other than that it came brand new and looks new besides those.
The patch for Mugen Souls Z has been recently released so this a more update review of the game.I am someone who has played both of the Mugen Souls games and I must say, this game is a huge step ahead from it’s predecessor which had a lot of technical problems. Mugen Souls Z ironed out many flaws that the first game had and even added new features, it’s better in almost every single way. The long loading problems that the first game had no longer persists, there is 100% access to the tutorials, the controller responses are much better than the first game, there is no delay when hitting a bunch of enemies with a large AOE.There is a lot more customization and many ingame features, than the original Mugen Souls, the save file size for this game is almost 5000kb. With a file size that huge, you can expect a lot content that this game has to offer. You can create up to 70 customizable characters called peons, giving them a new face, hairstyle, skin color, chest size, voice and attire. This game has around 10,000x more custom character variations than the first game because it has 3x more clothing for each piece.The Mugen Field is a feature in the game that lets you upgrade equipment and earn lots of EXP, money and MP. This game lets you save and walk around on the rest stops unlike the first game. Instead of grinding for countless hours, this game has a new currency called tickets which really lessens the grinding in the game, you can now earn up to 32x more EXP with all of the b.
A very fun game to own. Spent close to one-hundred hours playing this one game.

I really wanted to like the first game on the PS3, but the graphics, presentation and story killed it for me. So far I’m really liking this game and it looks like they corrected just about every problem with the first one. If you are a fan of jrpgs in this style I would recommend giving it a shot.
First I should mention this game freezes in mugen fields, ins is supposed to make a patch. If you have played disagaea you know what a pain that would be. My ratings is for when they fix it. I played the heck out of it but I am very stubborn and have lots o time on my hands being retired. Which means I reloaded a lot.
