This game is wonderful and additive. For me the orginal board game quickly got boring and usually a game never got completed. When I finally purchased the PS3 version I was hooked. The animation is fun and the tutorial actually gave me a much better understanding of the process of forming a monopoly over your competition. I hope game developers continue to bring life to the many board games out there. Highly recommend!
Most of the comments complain about lack of being able to just play with two players. But I found that if you want to all you have to do is change it to 4 human players and then only join two players. Me and my fiancée have had lots of fun playing this even though I win every time
This is my first review so I hope this reads okay. I was very hesitant to buy this game because of a few reviews I had read. I have to say, my wife and I love this game. We are both 32 years old and we have a 9 month old baby, so we were looking for a game we could both play and enjoy and this is it. One review I read stated that House Rules cannot be saved, they have to be readjusted with every game. This is NOT TRUE. You can label it what you would like and use those same adjusted rules every time. There are 3 pages of rules to change to your liking. (i.e. free parking pays cash, landing on GO gets you double, auctions, etc.). Another review stated the AI cheats and rolls doubles all the time. NOT totally true. They do but so did we. We both made a comment that it was completely even and fair the number of double we all rolled. We also liked the fact that you could turn off the computer players if you just wanted to play with just 2 people. There are around 10 new pieces and also a few additional board styles to buy with your monopoly money and also a few to buy with actual cash.You can play with your friends or just random people on the web also. We haven’t tried that yet so I will update that later.I definitely recommend this title to any age, it’s a fun time and seems like it will be for months to come.
Okay I love this game, it’s the most played game I’ve ever owned for the PS3. You will have a BLAST! The service was great it came in on time and everything. The only thing I wished was that they sent me the instructions for the game. I still can’t figure out how to purchase a few characters or boards. I’ve been trying to purchase a certain board on the ps3 network, but it’s not working for some reason and I really wish this gamed came with this instructions and not just the game.
The Game itself its AWESOME , BUT if you are into getting the trophies , FORGET IT . The last 9 trophies you have to get them ONLINE , their server never works and you need help from other people to get them , so its you getting it for fun its great but if you want to get it for the trophies DO NOT GET IT . I even contacted them on Facebook and they always act like they don’t know whats wrong with their serves .

Me and my wife LOVE playing monopoly.. but it’s not as fun with just two of us, and we hate the clean up afterwards….then we found out about Monopoly streets, and it’s awesome. We can play allllll the time, and we never have to worry about settign up, losing pieces, breaking things down… we jsut sit at the ps3 and play….if company comes over, jsut hook up another controller, and we’re playing again…awesome game.. great for any monopoly fans
