Use specified "gestures" to play this game and feel like a mighty "POWERUP Hero" as you pull off powers and combos that make anyone watching say "DAG!". You can collect powers from the characters you beat and bonuses as you level up.This and Kung-Fu High Impact get my "Highly Recommended" rating.
Definitely my favorite Kinect game of the genre. It’s very easy to get sucked into this and forget you’re getting exercise. Some people have said that it’s a short game. I haven’t finished it yet but in my opinion I’ve already had the purchase price worth of fun out of it, so no regrets purchasing this in any case.
I bought this for my children, but I play it more than they do. You can get a good cardio work out playing the game. I beat all of my children at this game. My children are 16, 11, and 8. All girls except the 16 year old. I’m over 40. I often play it while wearing the Tae Bo PT 24/7 resistance bands. I’m usually drenched in sweat after fighting 3 matches.
I bought this game for my 6 year old nephew who loves video games. This is a great game that satisfies his need for a video game bought also provides physical stimulation. As an added bonus he loves the vs. mode where he can beat a real person too, he feels quite accomplished. Like any video game play time does need to be limited. My nephew would play for hours, but as he gets tired the kinect sensor doesn’t track him as well so he gets frustrated.
I bought this game with high expectations since the reviews of it were wonderful. I can say is good but not great. I has moves and combination that are far better that other action kinect games. As far as moves this one is the best. As far as action this is average. I will recommend it since is not a bloody game so kids can excerise freely while playing.
A great kinect title and loads of fun (and some humor when you get into the game a bit). You play a human hero tasked to take down one of your robots that went psycho when it discovered lost power on an alien moon…now back on earth you must take back power-up emitters from various villians as you make your way back to the boss (your robot now powered up). It has a decent story, but the fun is in the game play. You start off with one suit and one set of emitters and a set of skills that are associated with that suit. As you defeat opponents you gain their emitters and their skills. YOu can only take 2 suits into a battle so as you progress you must decide the best combination of skills to do battle with. It’s a very active game and will give you a cardio work out if you really get into it. Overall, great start and I would certainly play a sequel to the game if ever one was made…
This game is really fun to play. I bought this for my 4 year old son because he loves super heros. The controls are very easy to use (easy enough that he can do it himself) and the games are so fun. You basically battle different villians to get their suits and their powers. You can then choose from the suits you’ve won to battle the next villian. It is challenging enough for myself, my husband, and the older kids (ages 11 and 9), and fun enough that even the 2 year old can play (although he doesn’t win). A great kinect game!
My 8-year old had a sleep over with 3 other 8 year olds……they had a plethora of games to choose from….they decided to "try" this one out…..and LOVED IT. They played this all night and started playing again as soon as they woke up. As far as games go, this was "cheap" so I bought it on a whim and I must say that it was/is worth every penny. And as a bonus……they are getting a serious cardio workout.
This is a good game, it is not Mortal Kombat but it has been the best fighting game ive played on the Kinect for now. I bought two so I can play my brother online. You do have to get use to controlling the character but it is very fun!
good buy
