A friend had this on the ps3 which had kratos as an exclusive character and I never though mortal kombat would come out with a complete edition, as awesome as this is I should’ve gotten this for ps3, but if you don’t care about that then I’d highly recommend this if your a long time fan of the game or just love beat’em up games.
Whether you have been following the series all along or haven’t touched MK since the early arcade days, this is well worth buying. The story mode is quite long, very interesting, and does a great job of giving you the backstory of everyone as well as familiarizing you with how they play. Worth it at $60, incredible value at $20 or under as it has been regularly the last few months. If you think you are interested, jump on it. The ladder mode also is quite good!

I’ve been a Mortal Kombat fan ever since I played the first one back when i was 6. Yes, I know, a little graphic for a six year old, but I loved playing it. Bought this one and it blew me away. This one is great for people who aren’t already familiar with the Mortal Kombat series. It tells all the character story’s and how they came to be. It’s almost like watching a movie. This one is a 6/5 stars for me!
