For 10 bucks you really can’t lose. The gameplay is quite similar to that of Parasite Eve The Third Birthday published by Squareenix as well, except this is made for the current gen console. There are actually quite a number of strategies that you can implement into a seemingly tedious third person shooter, and some of the stages require you to implement those strategies in order to advance to the next round. Overall a very good and ambitious attempt at creating a third person shooter outside the box. I recommend this to all who want to stay away from the myriad of identical fps that are flooding the market these days.

I purchased this item for my son who is 18+ and he loves this for his ps3 and has not had any problems or issues with it. The price was reasonable as well for this particular item. Plus, I usually wait until the price is right on this kind of stuff before I purchase it!!
As you see the date of this review it’s a few months in and $40 bucks less(20) I won’t make a long extensive review,so sorry if I miss many points. The graphics are perfect nothing wrong in that department,except the few areas that look familiar once in a while. The sound is actually done pretty well,from the gun shots to hacking etc everything pitch perfect. A cover system which works because you will fight hordes of men with guns. What really makes me like this game is the battles itself,you never know what you are going to get. I can be in a room and someone else online can invade my campaign like demon souls(you do have the option to keep it off if you want) I really enjoyed this feature and there are people online in Mindjack,it is not dead as I got hacked into 3 times in a hour. Mindjack lets you mind control an army in almost every firefight,like I said there are hordes of enemies but you can control them all to help you.. From Robots to humans. I am only a couple hours in and having fun actually..Mind you what held me off was all the negative reviews but at 20 bucks I decided to get it and it’s def a title to keep in my collection. If you have extra cash and feel like hacking in other games,give it a try.. Very underrated 3rd person shooter.

MindJack got a lot of grief when it came out, and it hasn’t gotten much better. However, seeing it for under $5 one day, I decided to pick up a copy and see just how bad it really is.MindJack tells the story of a man who’s name I can’t remember (and that I don’t care enough to look up) as he tries to discover what he can, as within the first few minutes of the game he’s treated as something of a traitor.The voice work is pretty horrible at times, so expect to groan.The mind hacking – taking over the bodies of friendlies or neutrals – is similar to The 3rd Birthday, with the exception of a pretty poor AI (although left alone for long enough they do a somewhat passable job most of the time) and you won’t hear Aya’s exclamations of … whatever. This hijacking requires line of sight, however there also seems to be some percentage of body seen, in order for it to consistently work.The game is mostly a third-person shooter, with a rather faulty hand-to-hand combat system (although taking someone as a shield seems to work fairly well).All that said, it’s about an eight hour game. However, I’ve put a little over 20 hours of time into the game. And it’s for the same reason I’m going to give the game 4 stars.The game allows you to play through by yourself, or like Demon’s Souls (I apologize if anyone cringes my mention of that in regards to this game), blue or red hackers can jump in.
