Great game to have but campaing to short but its worth it
I bought this as a gift for my husband and he loves it! Although there isn’t much of a story line to the game he is still enjoying it.
Do not be fooled this is not a full game. Thankfully I somewhat knew that going in.This is a trial in a sense. It is one single play area, a chapter in a larger story. Somewhat like the opening chapters in the previous 2 games. It let’s you get used to the controls, the weapons and AI. Once you play thru the main story demo (about an hour or two), you can go back and play other missions on the same map. Different challenges, different weapons and difficulty.To be sure this will please the die hard Metal Gear Solid fans. Focused mostly on exploration, stealth and with a relative minimum of movie cut scenes. (Hideo seemed to fancy himself a movie director in the last few titles). This gets back to the core of metal gear, sneaking around military bases gathering intel and items.While this disc is very brief, it is an enjoyable demo. Furthermore, the AI is much improved and the graphics look wonderful. Crawling is still an awkward and frustrating process as to be expected, but otherwise snake is in great form.If you long for the experience in the original and first Solid title, this will suit you well.
Another amazing title in the Metal Gear series, but it’s pretty short. Great graphics and better story, though it’s only part of a bigger story. (It’s a prequel to Phantom Pain.)

This was a great game. I had a good bit of fun with this game. Let it be known that this is NOT a very long game story wise. However, there are so many missions and collectables that it took me about 12 hours to get to only 70% completion. I still have much left to do. This is what it is, a demo of the fox engine and a teaser for fans. Would I reccommend it to someone who isn’t into MGS? Probably not. But if you are into MGS, and are ready to do some missions that may not be story related, you are in for a treat.
