It’s a shame that Mega Man Legends 3 was cancelled, because this series is a blast to play. How I missed this game when I younger is beyond me.
Megaman, a name that brings back sweet memories. I loved the x series and in all games I have played bearing his title I have enjoyed. Megaman 64 fufills some expectations and leaves others out. I expected a game that was like the others, battle enemies for their powers, face various foes and challenges and then battle it out with Sigma, Dr.Wily or a new nemesis. Megaman 64 incorparates the foes and challenges but the old nemesis’s like Dr. Wily and Sigma are gone. Now a new enemy appears. The Bonne family. You don’t acquire special abilities from defeating your oponents but rather find things and give them to Roll to build special parts for you. The storyline also changed. Which technically is not a bad thing… Dr. Light is gone and now Megaman was abanonded as a child instead of being found in a capsule underground. MegaMan has a lot of origins doesn’t he? :-) Zero is not present or any other people you knew in the X series or the original series except Roll. The additio of the Bonne family helps the game and storyline but as the editorial review states "The dialouges seem designed for 4-year olds" or at least very young gamers. Gameplay is not THE BEST in the world but is easy to get used too and even fun after while (I’m talking about controls). The gameplay is kind of fast but the missions in the game are great and pose a very big challenge. So that is definetly a big pro for the game. Lack of multiplayer was a hard fact to deal with. Banjo-tooie got a m.
Mega Man 64 is definitely an odd stand-out in the franchise. It’s not as bad as many people make it out to be, but I understand the general dislike for this game.
Great experience, everything as described. Great shop
Game was in great condition. It works perfect. I used to play this game when I was younger so it definitely brings back good memories.
I wish this game would take itself a little more seriously. It is a little toony. But fun and challenging and that is what counts.
Mega Man 64 is a fully enhanced port of the original PlayStation hit, Mega Man Legends. The game still remains the same thing as its PSX counterpart. But unlike the it’s PSX predecessor, Mega Man 64 has better and smoother graphics, tight controls, and non-stop 3D action. Mega Man 64 definently showed that it can improve over it’s PSX cousin with the new enhancements, mostly thanks to the power of the Nintendo 64. Since there was no rumble feature on the PSX version, there is a rumble feature in this version. Everything about the game is excellent. The only thing that bothers me is the occasional framerate errors and glitches, weak voice acting, and flat looking buildings, floors, and walls. Even if this game came in the right place at the wrong time, Mega Man 64 is still worth the purchase to those who never played the PSX version. If you played the game already, you would easily beat the game without breaking a sweat and quickly return it to the store. If you haven’t played the game, you’ll enjoy playing this game hundreds and hundreds of times. I LOVE this game, and I suggest that all Mega Man fans who don’t own a PlayStation should get this game. Now the two rival systems, Nintendo 64 and PlayStation, are now even. They both got the same title. Still, it should’ve came out 4 years ago. Even if this is just a port of a 4 year old PlayStation game, you’ll still enjoy it anyway. And believe me, this game is not mimicing the PlayStation version. Improving the graphics and the.
Everybody knows that this is a good game, IF you can get past the awkward control scheme. What people don’t seem to know is that the controls are vastly improved in the N64 port of Megaman legends AKA Megaman 64. You WILL have a better time with this port than the PS1 classic version. That said, the game is a little short and the graphics (while still better than the original) are quite dated so if you’re used to PS4/Xbox 1 graphics it will practically look archaic. I had a genuinely good time playing this game and I’d be happy to recommend it to others. Megaman 64 proves that a unique entry for a franchise doesn’t at all mean a bad one!If you want a 2D Megaman experience, this is not it… there are multiple scripted 3D cut-scenes that are all in my opinion very well executed. This game can be challenging but the hardcore elite will probably want to stick with the classic and X series Megaman games.
It’s a good video game.
my son loves it
