This game is a must own for any PS3 owner. Red Dead Redemption is a GREAT GAME!!!! Everything from the plots, graphics, sound, and game controls are excellent. If you have play any GTA(Grand Theft Auto) game the controls are very similar. There many twist and turns with the plot that will keep you playing for hours. The soundtrack adds a great atmosphere to the game. Rockstar has hit a home-run with this game. If you are looking for a great game and a low price get this game.
Perfect game IMO. Definitely one of my favorite games ever. Considering the total package of this game including undead and even the soundtrack lol, this game is complete genius. Just play this game and kiss many hours goodbye. So great.
Great game. The normal version is super addicting and intriguing to play. The Undead Nightmare is insanely challenging…having a hard time getting into it.
I really love undead nightmare more than the actually story.
I’ll throw it out there.. I DO NOT really enjoy the GTA series. Sure, they are fun to hop around in and wreak havoc on the cities, but really.. just not my bag. I want a little bit more action and adventure and a little less turning a mirror on society. Just not my thing..So, I was REALLY skeptical about liking Red Dead Redemption. Sand-box style questing just wasn’t for me I thought..I could not have been more wrong! The gameplay is excellent, with some intense fire-fights, cool "dead-eye" feature and fluid controls once you get the hang of them. I was expecting GTA on a horse, and while there are noticeable similarities, they really went out of their way to make this feel different and like it’s own world.Game is beautiful, even though I’m playing it in now 4 years after release, I’m still impressed by the level of detail considering it’s age. This goes into cut-scenes which are really well done, have great voice acting and draw you into the story. The expansiveness of the environment, dangers in the wilderness, side quest, etc. are all very very cool and even mostly through the game like I am now, I didn’t ever find anything to be TOO repetitive.Even the mini-games are pretty cool…I’ve spent a couple of hours just sitting there playing texas hold’em or Five Finger Filet and even the dice game. Sounds odd to play on the console, but it helps you in game if you’re good enough and even has some little things you can do in the game that will make it feel more like a.
Seriously, if you haven’t played it, you should. It is beautiful and the old-west theme gives the violent insanity of open-world games some believability, peppering in some hunting and randomly generated events to liven things up. The attention to detail put into this game is absolutely amazing and you can see how it carried into Grand Theft Auto IV, although I honestly think there was more… chutzpah in this game than the latter.Anyways, a great deal on a great game.
Great game! One of the best games I’ve ever played. Took a little to get used to the controls – but once I did I enjoyed many hours free roaming the west. And after you’ve beaten it you can play it again with zombies next! A lot harder for sure.
Love that both the regular game and zombie version is all included. Has a poker player slicky willy suit add on too. I think the controls on it was better on the xbox but either way I LOVE this game. In some ways the original was better but this ones superior. The original one felt like a Clint Eastwood Man with No Name movie and you got to play it. They even used the same music composer from those movies too. This one you can hunt animals, plants and people. Sell whatever you picked or hunted found. Buy housing or rent it out. Go do bounty hunter missions on the side, play games like Texas Hold Em and many other mini games. Even that knife game in the movie Aliens where you try not to stick yourself with a knife, and do a few side missions for other locals. GREAT game! I saw one guys review on how he had to chase chickens or something. Ummmm you have to help out this family who saved your ass from a bounty hunt gone wrong. From there you can stay and finish out that part of the games story line or go off and explore other towns and do s*** there too. You have to play it longer than one mission to get some enjoyment out of it. DUH!
