I’ve had this game for about a month and it’s great. It is a bit slow paced but that’s fine for me. This is an RPG/Adventure game (paper mario-ish) and not a platformer like super mario bros/super mario 3D land. Includes leveling up characters, buying equipment, battling monsters. This is my first in the Mario RPG series so all the tutorials were very helpful. The battles in this game can be difficult, even early on. Like all Mario games, there’s no voice acting so I wouldn’t recommend this for anyone who doesn’t like a lot of text reading and RPG’s. Though the text is pretty humorous which makes reading it not such a hassle.For those familiar with RPG’s there’s not a whole ton of grinding from what I’ve experienced but leveling up takes some time so I’d advice you to fight almost every monster you encounter.It’s not a steep learning curve but the battles do take some practicing before you’ll be able to get the most out of your attacks. There’s a save option always available in the menu/pause screen so you can save it at any point and don’t have to worry about reaching a save point in the game.
This was a surprise for my son. He was so happy to get it! This was no disappointment!
Mario and Luigi return with this amazing game, its a rpg mario style game loaded with a funny story also the game is very long and enterteiment.
For those that love Mario and Luigi this game is a ton of fun. it’s a different take on Mario in more an an open world RPG rather than the linear game play of the original Mario.Note for parents: This is a word intensive game. You need to have a child that can read to play it. I think most kids could figure it out but I spent a ton of time reading and showing my son how to play it. He lost interest because it’s a lot of reading.I enjoyed it though. It’s a really cute game.
Came in great condition
I will admit I am bias toward Mario games so I will keep this short. This game is fun. If you have played any of the other Mario and Luigi games then you know what to expect as far as gameplay. This one though is much longer than the others I have played. I have put 30 hours into it so far and have read that it will probably take at least 40 hours to complete, maybe as much as 50 if you do the extra stuff. Fine by me, because it has a lot of Mario and Luigi fun and charm. No worrying about this game being over with too soon for what you paid for it. Very fun!

its a great game. just as good as the past two games before it in the series.
A delightful game. The only complaints I can muster is that there’s a lot of tutorials and the characters are rather immature, but considering the target audience, that last one has little weight to it. A fun game for both children and adults. The most fun I’ve had from a Mario game in years.
Wish I would have beaten the game but I was really enjoyable and quite challenging at times
