the person this was bought for really enjoyed it and it was well worth the cost because it comes with a full trophy lineup
This is one of those things that are so bad it’s good, don’t really know how to explain it. But the monologue choices the players can choose at the way magus responds to AI’s were hilarious.
This game is a lot of fun to me. Maybe not much replay value after you land the Platinum trophy but it most certainly is a enjoyable game!Much respect to those who designed this game, good taste from the creators! This game reminds me MUCH of games like DIABLO and also some of the DYNASTY WARRIORS games.Strong recommendation to buy this game. It is VERY easy but fun and addictive.
great
The game is as bad as everyone said. I lost it when one of the dialogue options says “Damn son! How many unicorns did you eat?”
Bought for easy platinum and it is that but not a very in depth game, talent trees and skills are not necessary can use basic magic the entire play through.
ok I’m not one of those people who defends E.T. Hahaha. And I know a lot of people just play this game for the easy trophies. But the gameplay is actually kinda fun and super smooth. The graphics of the characters aren’t that bad. It’s just the environments that need work. And it actually has a pretty complex skill tree with lots of unlockable moves. But the greatest thing about this game is the dialogue. The dialogue is absolutely worth it–and absolutely makes up for the shabby environments. I mean it’s no masterpiece like the Uncharted series or The Last of Us. But it’s decent enough to play in between other games–like when waiting for big titles to release
Go on YouTube and watch the gameplay. it’s exactly like the gameplay video, but I like easy games.
I bought this game only for the sole fact that there wasn’t anything else worth purchasing at the time. After a day of playing, I can say without a doubt I have never laughed so hard playing a game. The game is crap but all of the systems and mechanics interlock perfectly to create a whole much greater than the sum of its crap parts. In much the same way, Magus’ myriad failings play off of each other brilliantly, turning what could have been a train wreck into a roller coaster of incredible, organic hilarity. It is a perfect storm of terrible ideas and botched execution, endlessly enjoyable in spite of itself. Were you to play it with your friends, perhaps as part of some raucous drinking game, the laughter might well kill you before the alcohol. Like Birdemic, The Room, or Troll 2, Magus is so terrible that it can only be called a masterpiece. I urge you to buy it, but only play sitting next to a good friend on the couch. Your laughter will be heard across whichever city you reside.
I was in shock. The game got here in like two days. I have never had an retrolio purchase get here this quickly! Also, the game is nothing short of immaculate. Very pleased.
