It’s an awesome game better than the new Madden games I recommend everyone buy it
This game might not have the graphics that NFL 2k3 has, but the gameplay is much smoother and the options are more in depth with some cool extras! It seems to me that EA sports takes more time, or has more money or something to develop the game. Also, when purchasing a football video game, one must choose between arcade style or simulator…As far as a football simulator….no game even comes close to Madden, or NCAA football 2003…yet..?.
Im on my wifes account right now so dont be fooled by the name. Madden 2003 is here and it is great. Last yr i went with 2k2 but im back this yr thanks to the incredible game play . This game is so smooth basically flawless . The running game is more fun then ever, you no longer have to get the best or fastest back to actually have a good rushing game. All the players are faster so you no longer have to pick your fastest players to take kick offs or punt returns to get good field positon. Everything is just so much more realistic, defense AI is better so even if you have a great back unless you have an arsenal of pass run play mixture you will get stopped.Interceptions are more accurate this year as well. How many time have you been there to intercept the pass and it bounces off your mans head, shoulders, elbows or whatever the odds are much greater and more realistic that you will catch. Passing is crisp and receivers are fluid. AL Michaels makes it so much better as far as commentating. The one negative i have so far is the sound, tackles sound kind of funny not very authentic. but hey i can deal with that. And the mini camp is so addicting i played more mini camp then games so far just trying to increase my skills. 2K3 has gotten really good reviews im sure people are happy with it but im very happy with my decision on picking Madden so i dont need to see what im missing if at all anything. One last comment to EA LOSE THE MADDEN CARDS any one who loves simulation foot.

Madden 2003 is by far the greatest pro football game of all time! The other EA game, NCAA Football 2003, is another great football game that could easily compete with Madden for best football game of the year. Madden’s controlability, though, is better, and the graphics are by far the greatest in any sports game ever made up to this point! NFL 2K3 isn’t even in the same league as Madden! Sure it’s a great football game, but the graphics, controlability, AI, and the other game modes make Madden the most successful football game franchise of all time! I highly recommend this one to any football fan!
This game is definitely the Daddy of all of the other football sims. With various modes of play and skill levels, it has something for everyone. The ability to use your own custom Playbook is great. There’s nothing more enjoyable than getting together with a few other friends and playing the heck out of this game….either on the same team or against each other. I prefer to have several friends on the same team as myself and seeing how far we can go. A must have for all sport sim fans.
this game is so fun especially when your breaking tackles and moving away from the tacklers. For those who have this game and if youre having trouble on those 3rd and or inches or even on the goaline on 4th and goal choose the goal line running play where your running back is running straight up the middle. Before you choose it switch it to the other side so your half back can be facing the weaker middle linbacker than the more powerful. works every time.
This X-BOX game compares to the PlayStation Hi-Contact Same game, same name. Great Graphics are real. Please draft and create any player using your memory bank on your Mad-Katz XBOX controller. Hits to the turf of the E. J. Dome will get 1st Downs or touchdowns as fast as you can. That’s why "Madden NFL 2004" On Deportes EA del XBOX, give it a double deuce.
This is the year of NFL sports game, but Madden is the one to buy. The graphics are truly amazing for the Xbox. I played it on a PS2 and it just doesn’t cut it. The play calling is easy to learn and adjust to, but limited at times. Of course if you have lots of time you can pretty much customize everything. The sounds effect can make you cringe when a player get crushed by a flying tackle. A few of us were playing this at the superbowl party, and most of the party was watching Madden instead of the live football game. Yes it is that fun…
