Let me start this review by stating that I’ve been a long time Madden fan but switched over to 2K series a few years ago, and I’m just returning to Madden this year. I did not play Madden 12 but decided to give 13 a try.After trying the demo and finding a good deal on retrolio, I decided to give this game a shot. There are some issues but overall I think it’s an entertaining game.Pros+ Controls are responsive overall. Some minor issues with touch controls but they don’t affect gameplay that much. Being able to select a specific player using the touch screen is a very useful feature.+ Presentation is solid. The new commentators are great. They don’t seem to repeat themselves as much as I remembered in the older titles.+ Franchise mode is deep and fun to play.Cons- As mentioned before, the touch controls can sometimes not respond, especially with the rear touchpad. Front touch screen works ok most of the time. Some moves such as juke seems tacked on and unnecessary, but not a big deal; just use traditional buttons/stick.- Graphics is somewhat inconsistent. Gameplay looks and runs well but cutscenes and replays are choppy/stuttery as most have seen. This was evident in the demo, and we had hoped it would be fixed, but it’s still there albeit not quite as bad.Overall, this game is fun and definitely could have been better, but for me personally it’s exactly what I wanted and I am enjoying it a lot. I do a lot of traveling, so I bought the PSV, and Im loving it. This game is great, and I love the graphics.

My grandson loved this game. My son is impressed also. They play a lot of games so it takes a lot to impress them.
So, to start, I must say that this is the greatest portable football game ever made. Way better than iOS and Android versions. It is for the most part a port of madden 12 with madden 13 announcing from phil simms and jim nantz. The game is for the most part flawless. With the latest patch, the game runs smoother because many complaints were based on choppiness in framerate. I have so much fun with this game and would easily give it a 5, but I didn’t because they should have given this game crossplay like on mlb the show. I didn’t necessarily need all the bells and whistles, but it would be nice to sync my season schedule and play games on the road. That is the only flaw.
The game is amazing, it has great graphics and it is the number one game for me as a huge football fan. Also the service was awesome, the game came to my house on time and in good condition.
