This game is my favorite of all my PS games!
When I first played this game I thought it was OK. When I found some secret codes I was in heaven… Alright back to this game, the graphics are great and the playbooks are perfect holding every play in the NFL. When I was St. Louis and the computer was Seattle I won 257-3! Dang. High scoring makes me very happy, and each time I play I score 100+ points.The 1965-1997 teams are a good idea to add to the game yet 25% of them stink! This game is the greatest PSX football game I ever played outmatching NCAA Football 2000, NCAA Gamebreaker, NFL Madden 1999 and Madden 98.Otherwise I am saying that this game is great and is the best football game ever besides the Super Bowl, ha-ha-ha!!
I got this game for my birthday a couple of years ago. Ever since ive been hooked i won the super bowl, had an undefeated season and completed all of the madde challenges. It is very creative and has good graphics, it is also very realistic. Ive never had any problems with it and if you buy it youll love it too.
When I heard the Miami Dolphins’ Fight Song after scoring a touchdown, I was completely hooked. Madden NFL 2000 has it all.The graphics are downright amazing, as they are as realistic as one could possibly be. Now, the players are actually built like they should be. The detail is phenominal right down to the new yellow line marking out the first down marker. The commentary is still top notch, making it feel like a live football telecast.The game is quite easy to play from a controller standpoint. It is set up to be very user-friendly. There are also several playing modes to chose from. The practice-mode allows you to get familiar with each team’s respective playbook, which is somewhat crucial in going all the way with a particular team.Overall, this game is a touchdown in all aspects. You cannot go wrong with this game, and it is an absolute must for all football fans that own a Sony Playstation.
Overall a great game and product. This was great before the madden series got terrible and dumb like it is today.
This game was one of the best values for the playstation. I’ve been up all night for weeks seeing how many times I can take a last place team to the superbowl with the right trades and draft picks. This is one of the most realistic simulations of a sports game out there. The only thing that gets old is the commentary, but it still gets five stars because you can turn it off.

This game would have of had a five if the graphics were better and the commentary was improved. The graphics aren’t that great and you will get used to the dull colors used in the game. The commentary should be more like "Madden" or my favorite Chris Bergman to keep you on your toes. He says the same thing over and over again. But you can’t get to perfection in that area. What I liked about the game is the franchise mode. You can sign Free Agents, Release players, Negotiate Contracts, and have a Draft. One thing that bugged me was if a lineman caught an onside kicked it will only track his kickoff stats for the rest of the season. Also what keeps the game alive is the 2000 Madden Points you need to get. Everything from catching a 30 yard pass to beating Green Bay at Lambeau Field. If you want a great buy and don’t got much money go here. But if you do have money buy Madden 2001 for PS2 if you got one but for playstation it is still good.
This is one of the best madden games that came out for the PsoneEverything about this game is great except the players reallystink up the place when they get injured.
I would award 5 stars to this game, but I feel that the graphics could of been a lot better. Also Madden’s comments in reference to the game being played are "repetitive" in nature or when a big play occurs, he doesn’t say "anything". The game though is a good buy and the vibration factor is good. I wish you could adjust the weather on the game and would like to see "as Madden does", the players uniforms get very dirty (like with Mud and …), but I guess you can’t have everything. The game is fun and a true football fan would enjoy it!
