Hi,I have about 12hrs in on this game. I bought it without seeing the reviews just because it looked like it would be good. I like playing as a female character and since they had a female elf I was going to get it.I am a single player gamer and was a little worried that the ai would either be overpowered or underpowered. Well I have to say that the ai is really good. The battles are many times overwhelming and either have a troll or a special orc or mini boss thrown in and when I am down my computer controlled companions are always there to revive me. Also I was a little worried that the enemies would always run to the computer controlled companions. Well they notice me and we all fight as a team.The combat is very tight. There are some cool finishing animations. There is mellee fighting, ranged fighting, special offensive and defensive powers, and a skill tree to add powers and abilities like dual wielding. There are a lot of enemies, and cool mini bosses, and cool bosses.The characters can be altered to your taste in mirrors in town. There is one in Bree. This is pretty cool because my elf is smokin hot!There is a lot of loot and it is really good loot. It is cool that the way you equip your character shows in the cutscenes.There are dialog trees. This is pretty cool. I read where some reviewers though the dialog tree didn’t matter to the outcome. Well maybe but you feel more involved by picking what to say. This game is fun and I really enjoyed the experience aside from the glitches. If you’re a Tolkien fan, this is for you.

I was having a rough time finding coop games that would be really fun that i could play with my brother.This game had iffy reviews so i was really nervous about how fun it would actually be.All in all, it is a definite buy.What i enjoyed about this game is that it was easy to get the hang of, the default controls were great, and it was just an all around fun game. The only few things that bugged me is that on normal it was pretty easy, there wasnt many options on how you wanted to spec your characters, and there were barely any options when customizing your character.Most of those things wouldnt bother many people. The one thing to note is that if you are a seasoned gamer, then playing on normal might lead to you guys competing for kills which ended up causing us to argue a couple of times. Playing on hard changed that a bit because all we wanted to do was survive.
The game is cool! Love the graphics and the story line.. The fighting is awesome in it. overall 5 starts..
The game is really fun and all but as I was playing through co op with my brother we got to a point where we died, came back, and the enemies were all gone. We wondered around trying to figure out what to do but apparently there is nothing we can do to fix it. It’s bugged. As of right now the game just sits on my shelf.
This Game arrived earlier than advertised and made it for Christmas. Was not suppose to arrive until after Christmas. Great game for older kids.
