Despite the candyland colours, this game has a great sense of humour that’s not just for kids. The gameplay is engaging, varied and open-ended: you can choose what you want to do and when. I love developing my kingdom as much as fighting battles. The dialogue makes me laugh out loud, and the familiar music is so catchy.I highly recommend this game for both experienced and newbie RPG players. The planning is fun, but not as challenging as a Final Fantasy game.
The product arrived exacly 3 days after i order it and in perfect conditions and perfectly packaged!I got so exited and I am more than extremely satisfied with this!I would recommend this to everyone!
I really enjoyed playing Little King’s Story because its just one of those addictive games that makes you want to explore everything. It’s very much like Pikmin where you control your “followers”, in this case your kingdom people, and have them do different tasks to expand your empire. Its also kind of a strategy game because you have to know how many of each profession you should have backing you up to best take on the next day. It’s really fun, if you’re not sure about this game I’d give it a rental try first. It’s not just for little kids either. You will have fun searching for treasure and buying upgrades to make your kingdom even greater. The art style by the way is amazing. The little cut scenes add so much to the atmosphere of the game. The only negative I have with the game is part of the control where you try to go up a bridge or small walkway and you have to walk very slow because some of your followers will get stuck behind the bridge or whatever you’re trying to cross and they don’t come back unless you go back and try again. Other than that one little obstacle, the game is really fun!!
This game was very satisfactory. It arrived on time and i enjoyed it a lot. There are a lot of different things you can do in the game, and it appeals to many ages.
I am 41 year old gamer who loves all types of video games, so when I saw the high reviews and ratings for this game I decided to go ahead and take the plunge. At first it looks like a really laid back kiddie game but don’t let that fool you it is a highly addictive fun game. My fav games are rpgs, first and third person shooters, and platformers mostly, so this game is quite different from those types of games. I do enjoy nation/town building games but this is a very unique game all by itself. This games graphics on my LED HDTV look pretty nice for a Wii game. This game is out on steam for the PC in HD and I saw screen shots where they made the Wii version look like crap, almost like super Nintendo graphics. The Wii graphics may not be as good as the new PC HD but they still look nicer then the pics on steam made it out to be, so don’t be fooled if you see those pics they are bogus. I am going to address some complaints from other reviews on here. I noticed they said that some people thought it was lame they didn’t make use of the Wii remote as a pointer. I understand where they are coming from but at the same time I don’t like to point at the screen all the time it’s annoying and after hours of doing this your arm starts hurting. This game will have you holding your arms up most the time to point at the screen, that doesn work for me, so I am happy with the way the controls are. It’s really easy to direct troops without having to point your remote. You can misdirect them s.
Despite the incredible sales of the Wii system, great games have been few and far between. And great games not made by Nintendo are even less common. Now, with the release of Little King’s Story, Wii owners have a fantastic third party exclusive. Possibly the best overall game released this year, and likely the best third party game released this far for the Wii. The game plays like a blend of Pikmin and My Life as a King, with a humorous, if wacky, story, and enough content to please most hardcore gamers. You, as the Little King, take control of your followers, each of whom has a certain occupation that provides abilities ranging from combat abilities to digging to climbing trees. Using these followers, the Little King must conquer the other kingdoms, uniting them under his rule.Other reviews have described, in-depth, the gameplay and attention to detail that make the game shine. While I think the game is phenomenal and should be a purchase for all Wii owners, I’ll be brief and just point out a few things that stood out for me. First, the music in fantastic. I’ve seen complaints regarding it’s ‘recycled’ nature, and simply don’t understand – the score is excellent, varied, and the music fits the game extremely well. Second, the incredible attention to detail. The kingdom really comes alive as it develops, with people going about their business and animals walking around. Citizens seem to converse with each other and little things happen all the time that really pull you into.
Excellent overall service and items. Thank you.
I wasn’t sure what to expect when my wife got me this game for my birthday a couple of months ago. She said it looked like something that I could play w/ our 4-year-old daughter since the characters & story line involving little boys, girls & farm animals right out of Japanimation shows. What do you know, the game really turned out to be one of the better RPG/role play games I’ve played. Controller operations are straightforward and fairly easy to move the little characters around. Since the game does not use the Wii sensor bar, my controller battery lasts forever (when compared to games like Wii Sports Resorts which uses the sensor & the MotionPlus extensively). Story line is simple, yet it keeps the game interesting. For being a “rookie” in console games, I found the missions & the battles are challenging without being frustrating. The only reason I gave it 4-Stars rating is because I am not too crazy w/ the Targeting system. Especially in the harder battles, I still found it a bit challenging to “aim” my target. But that’s a minor, minor negative on the overall game experience.
Haven’t gotten very far into this game, but so far it is cute and fun and pretty intricate. Pretty good plot and story line which makes it interesting and time consuming. I was recommended this game by a friend and I recommend it as well.
I was given this game as a gift and enjoyed it more than I thought I would. I really got drawn into the story and was challenged more than I thought I would be. This game is a lot of fun.
