Love it. Good fun for all ages.
I got this on a whim.I hated Lego Batman and was very wary about trying this one.I have to admit that this one is a lot of fun! I found myself consulting an internet guide at 4 in the morning, happily instead of grumbling the whole time. It’s just simple fun.I don’t even care when I fall off a ledge and die.And I’m an easily frustrated person. But here, who cares? It’s just fun.The graphics are great.I love the detail in the backgrounds. The fact that you can just pick up and play,it doesn’t take brain surgeon to figure it out. This one also got me to try the Lego Star Wars.I hope it’s just as much fun.If you have kids, get this.If you don’t and just want some light fun,get this.
Challenging and fun all rolled up into one game. Everybody plays it from the 5 year old to the grandparents. Great family game. Would recommend it to all.
Lego Star Wars was a *huge* hit, so it’s no big surprise that Lego Indiana Jones was next. It is just amazing how encompassing this game is. We just hit 100% on the entire game and have to say it was a lot of fun to get through it.In a world where games can be won and ended in a day or two, it is so satisfying to have a games that literally lasts weeks and is fun from start to finish. The humor in these Lego games is amazing. The little looks, the interactions are so funny. Whoever creates these games really should get a lot of credit for it. You get sucked into the story, become fond of the characters and really enjoy the ride. You get all three Indiana Jones moves in here – with detailed scene by scene recreations. In addition there are extra levels for Young Indiana Jones and the traditional smash-all-you-can level as well. There are tons of in-jokes – many characters from Star Wars make appearances in here. The basic operation of the game is that you and a friend (or a computer AI) go romping through a Lego recreation of a given scene from the movie. Maybe you’re running to escape a giant rolling ball. Maybe you’re wandering around a mysterious library looking to create a letter X. Whatever it is, you bash everything you see, breaking the Lego pieces apart, earning coins to then buy new characters, special unlocks, and much more. There are puzzles to solve, enemies to bash, but it’s all in good fun. It’s not violent (although I suppose some might say that having a little In.
Fun game bought this for my sons 7 year Bday. He loves playing it, it’s a game my wife and I can enjoy playing with him too!
Kid loved the game!
After having played the Star Wars version since last year, I must say this Indy version is a little bit more challenging. It brings out a few more twists to completing each level that will leave you thinking for a while, but its that the point? I think its a great “next level up” from the Star Wars version. The little movie animations between levels are just as humorous and even have some unexpected twists. The game follows the story board fairly well and even extends beyond what the original movie left off in-between scenes. The home base is little odd to get use to at first, especially having to go outside to get into one of the rooms. Using the map to decide which episode to play is also strange at first, but nothing that anyone cant figure out after playing with it for a little bit.Overall I think this is well developed and fun for everyone. Its fairly clean and just interesting to spend hours on. A good reference source for those hard to understand puzzles would be to get the game guide; which seems very thorough also. To everyone who gave this bad reviews, I say “boo to you” for not giving this a chance and giving a review based on only a few hours of game play. Games are suppose to be a little challenging, if not why play them right?
my kids love this game. It took them a while to figure out where to go but it is a lot of fun.
It’s Lego + Indiana Jones, really can’t go wrong. It’s a great game because the puzzles are aimed at kids, and allows for two players to play together. The cutscenes are pretty funny and there is some replay value as characters can be unlocked and artifacts can be found. The only thing I wish to see in future series is the ability to change the camera angle.
You know you’re going to get something good when you purchase one and this is no exception. The kiddos played it through pretty non-stop and still go back and play it now and then. That’s all I can ask.
