In Lego Batman 2: DC Super Heroes, calamity strikes as the Joker forms as alliance with Lex Luther. This game is aimed at kids, but is enjoyable to any comic-book aficionado, as well. It starts off with just Batman & Robin fighting the Joker, but they are quickly joined by Superman, much to Batman’s chagrin (Something I found hilarious). The Characters are well written and the cut scenes are funny (Joker, especially, but Batman’s responses to Superman are also great). As you continue gameplay, you unlock almost the entire catalog of DC heroes and villains. You can also purchase a few special content characters off of XBOX live (Damian Wayne, Black Adam, Gorilla Grod, Bizzaro, Nightwing, Zatanna, Shazam, etc).Like all Lego games, after you finish the storyline gameplay, there are things to go back and unlock, so play through again. Certain characters are needed to get into certain things, so once you’ve unlocked them all, you can walk through it.
Kept my niece and nephew entertained.
LEGO fun! Certainly love the wider array of characters and the expanded storyline & setting! Fitting for the 2nd installment. Something about LEGO games that makes you want to destroy everything that can be broken!
This has to be my favorite video game. I can’t get enough of running around smashing things. I love video games with a passion, so much so that back in the early 90’s I would fake sick so my mom, who was cleaning houses in the southern California area for extra money, would be forced to take me along so I could pay the rich kids video games.This was the first Lego video game I played and I was hooked. I had to buy this one because I had my nephews over a lot and – like any kids – they come to see my xbox360 – and not me! So imagine how sad I was when my nephews LOST my favorite game. (which they both swore was the other person.) They’re cute though so I couldn’t get too mad. But that says how much of a good game this is – if someone is willing to buy it TWICE!Well, you know what my recommendation is – buy the game! If you have young kids – its easy enough for them to just walk around and smash the tables and enemies before they get bored of it and want to play something else. Older kids will be able to follow the story line.I’ve added some screenshots of game play, they aren’t mine, I got them from a walk through – speaking of that. If you want get stuck I always refer to a walk through, I tried to put a link to it here but retrolio deleted it. Just google Lego Batman Walkthrough I’m sure youll come up with a good one :)
Getting a chance to play in the Lego universe as Batman and Robin, as well as interact with so many DC heroes, is extremely fun. It has the same fun Lego-style gameplay that you’d expect and the game is really fun for co-op.
My boys love it. they would play all day if I would let them.
I had never played a lego game before, so I thought I would try this one. It is very fun! I enjoy the fun interface and the general hints throughout the game in case you don’t know what to do. This will be a fun addition to our Xbox library.
My son loves LEGO games and this is one of his favorites. I was looking for another one because his got messed up and I found the one here at a great price. Made my son very happy
My 7 yr old son is big into anything Lego’s. This game is perfect for him, he loves Batman and the combination of Lego’s is a winner. The game has great longevity with the amount of characters to collect and vehicles and such. I find it a welcome distraction myself when he wants a 2nd player to help out. Getting a great deal on it from retrolio + prime shipping is a bonus!
