This game reminds me a little of the arcade game-Marble Madness-from the ’80s. If you’re not old enough to remember that-it bears a little resemblance to Super Monkey Ball (without the irritating, screaming monkeys). It’s fairly easy to control with the remote. As another reviewer mentioned, there’s no concept of lives so it’s easy to say-I’ll try this stage one more time & lose track of how long ago that was. There is also the goal of collecting crystals-you must collect them to complete the course-it won’t let you bypass that goal even if you complete the course. This is an addictive puzzle game-for under $10-it’s a great value.
Love the game
Fun
As soon as this game arrived, and without reading over the manual too much, I and a friend immediately launched into the two player mode. We played for a solid 2.5-3 hours, at first competing to see who would win. Once the difficulty ramped up, we were simply trying to finish. The two player mode only makes use of the remote and a nunchuk, with each player holding one or the other. While this is annoying in that it requires two people to sit fairly close to each other, the control afforded by the nunchuk was great…in fact, after trading off with my friend after he grew frustrated, I found it to be better than the standard remote. Too bad the nunchuk cannot be used in single player mode. The game itself is quite fun, with numerous unlockable marbles that have a dramatic effect on the gameplay….well….some of them do. Many of the early marbles are of the “easy cute” type, shaped to resemble a cutesy animal. Several of the later marbles provide more speed, weight, or other handling characteristics that makes better times in previous maps possible. The maps themselves are ingenious, with many later maps requiring a creative application of gravity. The controls are solid and precise- a player will not be able to blame his failures on the controls. That said, the camera angles were, at times frustrating. My friend constantly complained about them, but I really didn’t have too much of a problem with them. Graphics and sound are quite good, though the music is a bit l.
Thank you………Wonderful….and Trusting product and shop. Recommend. Word Word word word word word so many words required almost done…….and done
Kororinpa Marble Mania is in essence Super Monkey Ball without the monkeys. Taking its cue from the classic Labyrinth game, you guide the maze in 3D and the marble acts with basic physics responses.First, the premise. You have a series of themed maps that involve three dimensions of track. As you twist and turn the Wii remote, the track moves to match. As you give a tilt to the board, the marble rolls down the tilt. This is of course the basics – but soon there are ramps, sliding doors, sliding platforms, rotating pieces and other tricky objects involved in your path. There are of course crystals to collect – what would a game be without collecting crystals! There is also a bonus green item on each level which is rather tricky to achieve, but unlocks new items. This gives you incentive to go back and re-play levels repeatedly. Each level has its own theme. There are nature themes with leafy objects, a sugar-high theme with candies and cookies, an industrial theme with concrete, a cardboardy paper-Mario style theme, and so on. There are also background theme songs to unlock, and a variety of balls. Some make cute little noises, like the pink pig or the mrowling cat.My first reaction was – do we really need another Super Monkey Ball game? Super Monkey Ball has a ton of great mini-games, great levels, and all around fun. Kororinpa is lacking a lot of that. All you have is mazes. The multi-player is just map racing. It is challenging in a brain-train sort of way to figure out the s.
This game is for people who like a real challenge. one that will test your dexterity and your agility. It also tests your spacial abilities. I was worried that it might be too kiddish but this game is a challenge for even the most sophisticated gamer.
We first rented this game before buying it. My daughter asked for it for months after the first rental. When I finally bought it we were not disappointed. We all enjoy this game, my 4yr old, my 8yr old, and myself.
This game is different from both Super Monkey Ball and Mercury. I’m a big Super Monkey Ball fan and I really enjoyed this game. The levels go from easy to challenging and you can collect different balls with different characteristics to help you get through levels. Some stick better and roll slower, some are faster to get you better time, but also more bouncy. The one thing that makes this game less frustrating than a round of Super Monkey Ball is that there is no concept of lives or a time limit. If you fall off the level, you restart at the beginning or a check point and the time just keeps increasing. Also, in order to pass the level, you must collect all of the crystals around the level. There’s one special crystal on each level, and if you collect enough of them, you can access secret levels in the game. One thing that kind of irked me at the beginning, but as I played I got used to it, was that the board will not rotate around you as you move like it will in Super Monkey ball. You basically have one view, but this turns out to be good, because then you get the hang of where you are supposed to go.The game also really takes advantage of both the 3d and the Wii controller. There are many areas of the game where you have to turn the board 90 degrees to continue the course. It also takes advantage of the rumble feature in the Wii controller so that when the ball drops to a lower level or hits a wall, you feel it in the controller. It made the game feel more realis.
I really enjoy playing this game!! The wi remote is very sensitive to your movements! some of the courses are tough. I have on made it to candy land so far. Let me tell you the graphics are wonderful!! I would love to have some of candy!! It is definitely a GREAT BUY!!
