Love this game from start, to finish awesome sprite animation, pretty fluid throughout. If you’re like me and haven’t been keeping up with the KOF titles then your in for a treat if you’ve gotten this with the soundtrack. A nice memorabilia to have, nostalgic tracks will have you remember why you love KoF, if not for its tracks the awesome gameplay will keep you at it for hours at a time. I haven’t played KoF since 99′ so having this in my collection is a nice breath of fresh air for me. Unlike Marvel vs Capcom, nothing wrong with that game cept its more fast paced button mashing, and them releasing the Ultimate version kinda sets me off about it. Anyways BUY KoF, its truly King of Fighting game for me (personally).
the last great 2-D fighting game of its time.
This game is a lot of fun, great animations, and very difficult. I would highly recommend this game to any fan of fighting games, just one bit of warning: the precision that it takes to pull of the moves are very strict. Being a big fan of the MvC series, I thought it would be similar. Not even close. The trials are very fun (do this well before you try it online, you’ll start to get the hang of it) but they are tough, and when you get through some of them, you’ll be quite excited. Just be prepared for a lot of practice.
I am a fan of the King of fighters and the last one was very disappoint but this one is all I expected!, great graphics, good music, great for playing, it is a MUST to HAVE!

Loving kof for a long time its an awesome game it has real good graphics it came with all the aoundtracks from part 95 i think and booklet of art :)
I’m a big fan of fighting games and this is an amazing installment in the series. I haven’t cared much for many of the recent KoF games, bu this one should not be skipped. The story is a bit thick but the challenge is certainly strong. If you are into 2D fighters, don’t hesitate to buy this game.Pros:-Beautiful graphics-Tons of modes-Fast fluid gameplay and great combos-Mine came with 4 discs of soundtracks (98-XIII)-Incredibly challenging Mission mode (highly recommend using a stick if you have one)Cons:-ITS HARD AS HELL! (haha, no seriously though, this game is not easy if you’re a completionist)-Complex combos are extremely difficult to perform with proper timing if you don’t have a stick (arcade style joystick).Get this game if you like real arcade fighters and a good challenge.Note: I haven’t really done much with the online play yet as I want to get some more proficiency before I do. I have heard good things about the netcode they used, so unless I update otherwise assume its a solid experience there.
really good game the sprites look awesome , the soundtrack it could be better and I would of liked voice over at least in Japanese with subs. the online play gets a little laggy at least with me I don’t know with others. i wanted so much a king of fighters for the ps3 . I hope they keep making more and get better in the next one . it is not a full 5 for the things explained above but in all the other things is awesome.
