This collection is pretty good, though there should be a customizable options for each game, its still worth the pick up. The graphics and sound may not be intact, but the game play is. If your a fan of the franchise pick this collection up, because it won’t hurt your wallet for it. Good fighting game but you needed to buy 2002 and 03 to get full bam for your buck!!
Just started getting into The King of Fighters a few months ago and finally got this game. It’s hard at first with KOF ’94 and ’95, as they force you to anticipate your opponent’s moves (meaning don’t depend on SDM’s to win your battles). If you lose your cool with the first two games, I’d advise you to skip on to KOF ’96 (it’s your choice), as it’s way more easier and fun to play. KOF ’97 is pretty much like ’96, but with more characters and a better ending. And KOF ’98 has no story. It’s just what the title implies: it’s a SLUGFEST!KOF is great because it gives you the option of building your own team of 3, like the Marvel vs. Capcom series, but with unique characters that grow with each game. In other words, it’s canon from game to game, not just some spin-off. If you’re already a KOF fan, you’ll want to add this gem of games to your collection. If you want to join in the KOF series, then it’s waiting here just for you! Give this game a try and do your best not to ragequit, especially with Rugal. You CAN win! It is possible!xDD
