I paid 19.99 for the launch edition shipped from retrolio but when I got it the art book was flipped(the cover was one way and the book contents were flipped the other). Its nothing to really gripe over and I’m glad that I was able to pay regular price for the launch version. Keep in mind I bought this game a few months ago and I don’t know if retrolio still has the launch ver in stock
Fun to play, however not a lot of instruction on certain minigames. Controls are alright.. a few times the guy ran off the stairs when I wasnt doing anything, however I think its just part of the programming of his run. (though there is no walking…)Fun game, worth trying out if you like hack and slash.
came in great condition and the game it self was amazing it was fun fast passed great story and amazing graphics and music!
this is a good game really fresh and new. the cell shaded graphics makes it really interesting to watch as well. the only reason i gave this 4 outta 5 stars is because i havent got a whole lot of time to play it, so not sure how epic it can get. if u like lollipop chainsaw or shadow of the damned, i highly recommend picking up this game

Don’t listen to the reviews, these "game journalists" don’t know a singe thing they’re talking about. This game is a very good character action game. Sure, it’s a bit weird, but what do you expect from a Suda 51 game. Gameplay is nice and solid, and is meant for multiple playthroughs.

Amazing game, good Graphics, nice sound track, not bottom mashing but Awesome and deep gameplay, beautiful Art style which fit the game perfectly, side quests and challenges are nice and challenging and of course Love the Gigolo Missions, story isn’t that bad we’ve seen worse its More a like a Dark Anime story, which fits just right with this game game and Suda’s Style.It’s unique and Fresh, and a Nice fast pac Action game and its a decent one, much more like Bayonetta and Devil May Cry actually it’s better than Current generation Devil May Cry don’t concern about those reviewers out there who became just a business tools, and gives game such as Call of Duty the same high score for years for the same game with no innovation, we want more different games and styles with fresh ideas like this one, FPS killed this generation and killed innovation.I wish it was a little longer though.Please go buy this game, it deserves gamers supports
This game is just stupid fun. The fighting mechanic is fluid and intense, and nothing says epic like the overdone battle system implemented in this title. The art is beautiful and unique, and the main character has all the bad-ass personality traits you want in an action game.Unless you’re offended by the pick-up side missions with the “beauties,” they’re a silly change of pace that had me laughing, at the least. Its just an over the top interpretation of picking up girls with some interesting pg-13 cutscenes later on.My only, ONLY issue with this game is the play time! Its just not NEARLY long enough, being easily beaten between 7-8 hours, or less if you speed through it. The story is easy to get swept away in, and then suddenly you’re already at the final boss. I was quite dissatisfied with the loose ends this game left as far as story since it has such a premature ending due to play time, and I beg and plead it gets a sequel to explain some of them. However, its more of an artistic/author’s decision, like when a book/tv show creates an environment that only makes sense to the main characters, since there is never a “fish out of water” character introduced. The characters in this world are apart of it, so don’t expect explanations. Its kinda fun to interpret your own conclusions, but I would’ve preferred a couple hours more of story.But the last boss alone is worth the buy! Talk about epic…Overall, I’d say this is a great game, and I’d give it 5 stars moreso bec.
