The Controller: Its every bit like the original, with a few modern additions that fit right in. Of course it’s big, that’s why you’re looking at the Duke right? I don’t have especially large hands, for reference I wear a size 9 glove which is your typical M/L size. I find the controller comfortable with the buttons spaced well. Most importantly, the triggers are set lower on the back than normal controllers and are in a place your fingers naturally set. With middle fingers set on the triggers, my pointers land right on the newly added LB/RB buttons. If that isn’t to your preference the classic White/Black buttons serve the same purpose.The Skin:*UPDATE* I applied the skin to my X and love the way it looks. Installation was easy and I had no bubble issues. Due to the vents of the console not being covered, the color of your console will show on the sides and any other exposed areas. For that reason it may look better on black (or green if there ever is one) X’s. I was in the market for the Xbox classic skin for the One X ($30 on its own) when I found this package deal. I personally had the Halo edition clear green Xbox and was elated to find this skin, and while the matching Halo Xbox controller I had was not a Duke (it was after the S-type switch), my nostalgia meter is overflowing all the same.Bonus: It also comes with a 1-month prepaid card for Xbox Game Pass ($10) which I enjoy as well. If you don’t have it already, try it free with this. If you’re like me and already subs.
So nostalgic. Fits my extra large hands. Love the black and white buttons as alternate l and r bumper. Start up logo is sooo cool. I just wish it had sound but it’s still awesome. Also wish it was wireless but it’s worth the price. These are non issues. Item is exactly as advertised and is a perfect 5 for build quality
All the items except the side decals were there would’ve been nice to have the other decals
The Duke Controller feels like home to most xbox gamers and this one definitely brings it home. Not a big fan of console stickers but if you in to that than perfect it appears high quality. The controller and the one moth game pass alone makes this item worth it! PS the controller is heavy just like you remember it.

Great Product! Dont listen to bad reviews on it, especially about it arriving used, you must make sure your purchase option is selected for new and that whoever’s the shipper is reliable. Now that, that’s out of the way. I love the Controller, it will definitely make heads turn, the animation for the logo of the OG Xbox inside the Controller when starting up brings back a lot of nostalgia and i have never seen something like it done on a controller, it can be used with any USB slot (if its compatible). The skin it includes for the One X really stands out in a room and will have people asking about it. Arrived relatively quick in a nice box. The 1 month game pass is a plus too! 5/5
Xbox skin’s perfect and the controller is a blast from the past. The only reason there’s one less star is because of the controller’s minor problems. The right and left bumpers are a bit hard to reach. Granted, the returning black and white buttons act as a substitute but sometimes it feels clunky. Secondly, every time the home button is pushed, the original Xbox startup animation plays in the controller. It would’ve been better if this only happened when the controller turned on the one time. Otherwise, perfect.
Was a surprise from girlfriend and I love everything about this pack. The duke control is exactly how I remember it and feels nice to play with. The display on the controller that shows the original start up is nice as well. The skin for the system fits perfectly and was easy to apply. I’m a huge halo fan so to have the green design from when halo 2 released gives me joy and so much nostalgia. This is worth the buy especially now that its on sale for 50 instead of 80 bucks, the price of the controller alone but u get the skin and a 1 month game pass.
I was really surprised with how high quality everything feels. First off, the vinyl for the console is perfect. It looks just as amazing in person as it does in the photos. It took me maybe 5 minutes to have it all put on perfectly. It’s definitely a great way to make your console stand out. The controller, is just perfect. It feels great, even better than the original duke (maybe it’s just my hands though, they’ve definitely grown up since I first played with the original) the OLED display and animation is great. I thought it would be annoying that it plays it every time the button is pressed, but I can’t stop looking at it. It’s awesome. And the free month of gamepass is a nice little cherry on top. All in all, it’s a great bundle. Even better if you get it on sale.My only two complaints are very minor, but here they are; the bumpers on the controller are terrible. They don’t feel great and the positioning is very bad. Although given that they’re trying to stay true to the original, it can’t really be helped. Luckily, the black and white buttons still work exactly as before. The other complaint, is that the skin and controller don’t really share the same color. There is a pretty stark difference in the green’s, that didn’t really show in the ad. This is extremely minor and I don’t really mind at all, but it’s worth a mention.Now, it’s time to get back to Halo 2 remastered. 10/10
First off, requires a wired connection at all times.I love the larger form factor, I remember the first time I made fun of my buddies because their small hands couldn’t handle the old Xbox controllers, they complained it was too big and bought the “S” controller. This controller is not for the small of hand.Upon opening the box and plugging it in, it felt as if it was November 2001 all over again – of course, back then everything was still wired, so this truly is an authentic replica sans a breakaway cable. I’ll most likely send this down to the basement to use with my gaming PC as I prefer a wireless controller for the family room.The skin is nice, but I purchased the set purely to get an additional controller/controller for my gaming PC so not sure I will actually use it or not.
