Anyone who plays this game and cannot feel the mind altering effects must already be dead! It took me 12 days to complete the entire game and it was worth every suspense filled moment. Throuthout the entire time I was playing the Juggernaut I felt as if I was racing against time to save not only my demonically possessed girlfriend, but the entire world.The Juggernaut had its erie, mysterious, and sad moments as I moved from one story to another in anticipation of piecing together a puzzle that would release the world from a timeless evil. True the graphics are not all that great and I would have loved to have been able to hear myself and the other characters speak, but the erie music compensated highly for that.The Juggernaut is a very old game for playstation, but it is in my opinion a classic.
Juggernaut is a difficult game to describe. Movement in the game is in the style of D; you aim which way you want to go, push a button, and then zoom to the next screen. If you don’t like this kind of control, Juggernaut is probably not for you since it’s 3 discs of that. Juggernaut is a game that has left one of the most lasting impressions on me. There is no combat (except for the very end). Instead, the entire game consists of solving puzzles in a sort of haunted mansion that represents the inner soul of your girlfriend. It is the closest thing to playing a nightmare there is. The puzzles are exceptionally hard, but rewarding. The main story is coherent. Basically, you’re trying to break your girlfriend’s possession. The subplots, which are kind of like episodes, are weird. I mean, they are really bizarre and only make sense if you think about them like they are part of a dream. I love the mood the game creates; you are completely alone in the world. The selling point of this game lies in that eerie feeling. If you love hunting games with that kind of feel, Juggernaut will probably make you happy. I gave it 4 stars on the fun factor because of the control system; sometimes doing simple tasks like going to the other side of the mansion takes forever. Overall, this game deserves to be played.
