One of the best Pierce Brosnan Bond movie
Loved it! Pierce Brosnan got gypped on the Bond franchise, He should have been offered the role earlier than he was and should have had at least 5-6 Bond films to add to his credits.
This is my favorite bond movie (yes every one has their favorites, and their favorite Bond), and my favorite Pierce Brosnan as 007 movie. Well done. Loved the selection of actors, the story. Had all of the elements of a good Bond flick. I didn’t care for subsequent Brosnan-as-007 movies – too weird, and all tried to make a point. I just enjoyed this one, and Brosnan did a great job.
Great storyline and acting. Has to be one of the best Bond flicks in my opinion.
Saw this for the first time 2 days ago and have watched it at least 10 times since then. As a Pierce Brosnan fan from his Remington Steele days, I became a fan of his James Bond. Rather than go into details of the storyline (which anyone can read in many of the other reviews), I’ll say this movie had my attention from the very start. It intrigued me, made me laugh hysterically (the tank!) & made me swoon (well, this James Bond is sooo swoon-worthy). The actors were all superb. Famke Janssen’s femme fatale is comparable to none other. The hand-to-hand combat sequence between Pierce Brosnan and Sean Bean brought to mind similar scenes in John Wick. It was great to see Bond’s main love interest as his partner as well, an intelligent woman contributing to resolve the their dilemma. The only critique I’ll offer is that the sound quality during explosions and guns firing was not good during most of the film. However, that did not take anything away from the entertainment factor. If you haven’t seen this film, please do. It’s a fun ride!

Remington Steele was just before my tv watching time so I knew Pierce Brosnan as Bond first. This is an excellent kick start to the franchise that had not produced a movie in nearly a decade. While no one will live up to the original standard set by Sean Connery, I enjoy Brosnan’s portrayal more than most bonds before him and since. The action is great including a car and tank chase scene. Silly innuendoes worked in as women characters’ names are still there. And i always love the opening sequence before the opening credits. This movie brought bond into the nineties when that phrase was still contemporary.
Fun movie to watch, affordable, will make a great gift.
I AM A JAMES BOND FAN EXCEPT FOR THE LAST ONE
Pierce Brosnan is another favorite bond of mine. All Bond movies are great in my opinion.
