This game is, in a way, your rather standard fighting, PS1 game. You stand facing your opponent in a 2D environmnent and battle it out. There are several things that make this game better than just your average fighters.- Duh, it’s InuYasha!- Because it comes from a TV show, there is kind of a plot that goes with it, and it keeps the game more interesting.- The plot changes as you earn new characters to play with.- Each character has their own special moves and abilities.- Hint hint – if you get the game, definitely try to get Kouga. If you use his Demon Wind attack over and over, it’s impossible for your opponent to even move. Yeah, it’s a little cheap, but that’s okay if the other guy’s been whippin’ [you] all day. Besides that, Kikyo’s really the best, but Sesshoumaru rocks too.- The controls are never hard to remember.- There are several bonus things to unlock that would really appeal to InuYasha fans, but I’m not going to give away what they are.
I have loved Inuyasha for the longest time. I didn’t know it was that well known by others. I am extremely glad that a video game is being made of this briliant work of art. I have completed assurance that it will be wonderful.
This is a very good game and anyone who watches the show would enjoy this game and I would recomend it to everyone and when you start you can play as: Inuyasha,Kagome,Shippo,Sango,Miroku and asyou progress you can unlock: Shessomaru,Narku,Kikyo,Totosai,Koga,Youkai Inuyasha and you can get the mini games and the music form the game and trust me it is very good
The shipping was wonderfully fast, the item came with slight damage but that is fine, The game itself is a decent game to play, and it is for any Inuyasha fan. The characters have a wide range of attacks, and can have their clothes change color. The Jewel Shard mini-game might get tedious, but overall, it is a great game.
As a huge Inuyasha fan (before it came to America) and a PS1-only owner, I was so happy to hear that this game was avaliable in America. I was happier to hear that all of the original voices were kept (there are translations for all of the dialogue that is not in-battle).You start the game as Inuyasha or Kagome, and each time you beat a “level” with enough shards you unlock a new character. All of the main ones are here: listed in the manual and even the 2 secret ones can be figued out from their silloettes. The controls are very esay to figure out, and the game is very enjoyable if you like this sort of game. There are a few mini-games of whacking bees and rocks, but otherwise are all battles. So if you like fighting games you’ll like this, though the graphics are in no comparison to games like Soul Caliber and Tekken. Therefore, Inuyasha fans will love seeing their favorite character demolish others (it’s so much fun to beat up Shippo!), fans of SNES-type fighting games will enjoy it, but those looking for deep storylines and varied gameplay will not.
I absolutely love this game.I used to play it back when it first came out.Its a really good fighting game. Its very enjoyable if youre a big fan of the show..i wish it had more characters to play as though. But overall its a great game!
I know this isn’t really a review….( Thank you Mr. Seiple…) but i need help! Every-one is saying great things about this game…but it is sold out! I am a HUGE Inuyasha fanatic (i once went on a hunger strike just so i could watch the show and made my own Shikon jewel) if any-of you know where I can get another copy, please tell me! I wasn’t sure where else to post it so i came here. oh…and hi guineapunk13…call me when you see this…moosh! Oh, yeah..MONKEYS!!!! sorry, i love monkeys…hehehehe
this game rocks! mainly cause it is in Japanese and they swear a lot so it is very funny listening to them swearing in a language i don’t even know. and in case u were wondering how i know they r swearing when i don’t even speak Japanese…it’s cause there r subtitles. i can’t wait for the next game for PS2 cause i heard it’s in Japanese too! yay!!! :) i’m so happy! LOL!InuYasha!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:)!!!!!!!!!!!
