I gave this to my 8 yr old niece for Christmas and she couldn’t put it down from the time she opened it. She played it non-stop for 2 hours and was still playing when I left.Update: I checked out the game with my niece due to complaints about adult situations. It’s true and it’s a bit much for young kids.
I am thirteen and I absoloutley love fashion.I got this game for Christmas and I played it a lot. I beat the game three days after I got it, I loved it so much! Very addicting! Designing my very own fashion line was really cool and easy! There is so much to do from choosing a model to doing a fashion show. My favorite part had to be designing the clothes that really expressed my personality. But I wish that I could express my personality without getting married!Yes, in this game you get married to a handsome young fellow named Mark and you have no choice but to get married. This is the only flaw that has really shocked me the most. I know Ubisoft can be a little bit more conscious about what material is put in their games. I hope that in the future Ubisoft will realize that there are eight year old girls who play this game. I know I’m only thirteen but I know that marriage is no joke and that some of the things in the game are just a bit too mature for girls under ten. This is my opinion on the game and I hope that you read this and consider what I have said. Thanks!!!!!:)
I am 21 years old and I loved this game!!-The soundtrack was awesome! It included contemporary songs from artists like K.T. Tunstein, and Vanessa Hudgens, and also classics like “Pretty Woman” the Beach Boys!-The graphics were surprisingly good! The models all had a unique look, and were ethnically diverse.-Clothes could have had a little more variety, but it was still easy to create interesting outfits.-Directions for assignments were very clear, and my 8 year old niece had no trouble playing the game, with Some help from me with reading.-The layout of the game was very interesting. There’s an elevator that takes you to different activities, such as hair, makeup, photo shoots, etc.What I mostly loved about this game was the ability to keep playing even after you finished the story. Even without specific assignments, you can continue to design clothes, dress your models, do hair and makeup, and put on a runway show or photo session (you can save the pictures too!)I’ve read some people’s concerns with the romance between the Designer and her photographer. He did seem sort of obnoxious (he gives her a “present” which is a tv tray and says they’ll be moving in together) but that’s as far as it went. There was no elaboration on their living arrangements, and other than him opting to stay in New York for her big promotion, their romance doesn’t go any further. If this is actually considered a problem, heaven forbid any young girl see a couple kissing at the mall, or turn on a TV!I.
I love this game! its so much fun to create new designs and get them reviewed!
This is just right for that teen I. your life. My granddaughter loves it.I think any young lady would enjoy it.

Hey I thought this game was really fun the only thing is i thought the part when you did the fashion show was kind of borin … well not boring it just wasnt as fun. But I really like doing the hair and makeup and choseing your model and making your own clothes. I would recomed this game to people who like doing,makeup,and fashion.It last a while cuz there’s a story that you go through. 1 thing that like you can’t take a picture untill it’s green so you can’t pick your own pose but still very fun.
Fun little game! I had a copy years ago that I lost, and wanted to try the game again for old times’ sake. Definitely more appealing for younger audiences, and a few quirks that are simply frustrating and nonsensical for anyone, but fun to pass time with. Since it’s only available on the original Nintendo DS (and any consoles with legacy compatibility), I would only recommend it for those playing for the sake of nostalgia.

This game was for an eight year old girl. I have not played the game or even looked at the game so my review is not totaly accurate. What I was impressed with was the ship time. Ordered just before Christmas and they said it may not make it untill the 27th. It arrived on the 23rd and made it in the stocking!
