I was 22 or 23 when I bought this game 8 or 9 years ago and as grown as I was then, I had a blast playing it regardless. Once you spin it up, it’s obvious that the game does not take itself at all seriously, and that kind of gives the game most its charm. The animations are surprisingly fluid, there’s a great variety of slice and dice action and precise platforming involved (Ex: balancing atop a leaking powder keg and trying to keep from blowing up, skating across rails, etc). You also get to control a gigantic rock-em-sock-em-like robot with the capability of delivering effective 1-2 combos while throwing in a nifty uppercut to finish off the opposition. The environments and levels are well put together and kind of have a Super Mario 64 feel, although nowhere near as elaborate. Ninja himself has a good array of moves and the ability to level up his swords, which is a very nice touch. There are also areas that you may need to return to in order to gain specific items, so this also adds to the replay value. The game “sticks to what it knows” and that is wackiness with addictive gameplay, so don’t endeavor upon it expecting to be treated to an evolved storyline, ’cause it ain’t happening. EAT IT!
I found this game very interesting from the first time I played the demo on a CD i got from buying the PlayStation Magazine. The grafics are really well rendered and the chibi-ish style of the character adds up to the fun. The gameplay is really enjoyable, i guess you could compare the main character’s moves with those of hotsuma(Shinobi, PS2) because of his abilities, shuriken throw, double jump, wall run, and mad-like sword techniques. Also this game features alot of comic scenes and is pretty relistic for a cartoon-like 3D game, you can dismember ennemy ninjas and chop ’em in half with super-charged attacks.if there is a downside i found in this game, (well of the demo, dunno about the rest of the game…) it’s that it may be too easy by times. for example, the character does alot of actions by himself, he auto-aims the grip of his chain, he got a god-like balance when it comes to surfing up ropes, etc….Well, i’d give a 4.5/5 for this game if i had the chance but it’s not there, excellent game, i recommend it to you if you like adventure-style games with lotsa actions and strategy (yes, you need skillz AND brains, unlike shinobi where u gotta friggin cut-open everything alive in the level… well thats another story….) ENJOY !!- Chibytrunks
I loved it, it was so nostalgic and amazing to play again and It works good.

I like this game even thoe I have not played it yet.
Harken to the words of an actual gamer, someone who recognises originality, variety, fun and gameplay when he sees it.This game rocks. Its quite simple really, the control method is intuitive and easy to master, making complex-looking moves and combos easy to execute. Running up a vertical wall and kick-jumping between buildings and platforms is just as easy as chain-swinging over ravines or slicing an enemy in half, either vertically or horizontally.Battling enemies is where the game comes into its own. The combat system is a cinch to learn and use and you soon find yourself fighting up to 10 foes at once. And winning!Of the 64 levels, there are only a few I’ve not finished yet, due to the addictive nature of the game. just hopng it unlocks something cool! There are sword upgrades a-plenty, and defeating bosses teaches you new rage skills, which help give you a further edge over the enemy. The speed of Sonic, the variety of Mario and the sword skills to best Zelda. How can this not ROCK?!!!
This has everything you want in an adventure game. I was really surprised how many reviews said how short it was because theres so much you can do in it. Its basically the ninja version of mario64. Its a must play. Its a shame there probably wont be a sequal.
Great product, looked brand new.
I love it and it came here with care
So much fun to play
