I bought this for my husband for his birthday because he’s wanted it for years. And he was beyond thrilled when he opened it. He’s played in almost non-stop since he got it.
Not going to write a review, dont need to, this is my favorite video game i own, i could play soooo many hours of this, how anybody could rate this under 5 stars apalls me. buy this now.
harvest moon is an amazing game and i would like to write about how good it is but i just wrote a whole big paragraph and i accidently erased it..so to get to the point harvest moon isnt about farming its about friendships and family and if people cooperate and have fun together then the end results could be beautiful so if you haven’t bought this game…BUT IT NOW…because it could teach you alot..and not just about farming..but about life…and in real life i spent days drawing out a town i wanted to make based on harvest moon and it would be the absolute perfect place if anyone me or you could make it for real
Came in great condition. Very nice addition to my collection. My favorite HM in the series.

Now Harvest Moon Back To Nature is very very fun it’s a rpg that make you work for a good life and if you do not take care of your animals then they will die u can own sheep, cows, chickes one horse and a dog now the sheep will grow up and give you wool and you may seel it or keep it wich ever you perfer and also the cows will give milk and u can seel it or use to to make food or drink it chcikens give eggs wich also can be sold and used for cooking the dog will defend your anils from stray dogs you get your horse from teh rancher named barley and old feller who has a granddaughter who ask if you would like to keep it and you may if u want but you have to brush it with and talk to it everyday take good care of it and then after 1 year you can ride it One year is 4 Seasons theres 30 days in each Season Spring,Summer,Fall and Winter my favorite Season You are able to marry and raise a son to about the age of 8 or 9 and name him but you cannot raise a girl i know it may suck but i hope natsume will make a game where u can do that but you can marry 5 different girls first off Karen the girl who likes wine and shes hot for a computer generated chick Ann the daughter of the inn owner Mary the Librarian kinda nerdy Elli the nurse shes pretty cool and hot last but not least popuri the daughter of the woman who owns the poultry farm you can plant seeds for crops and they will grow you and ou can seel the mfor sum hard earned cash you can upgrade you.
My 1st encounter of the Harvest Moon series was on the N64, that game alone caused many nights with lack of sleep. Then Back to Nature arrived….Deeper story with characters, more complex system involving cooking, along with the expected farming, ranching, marriage, and many seasonal events to participate to keep you busy every season. The cooking aspect introduced the need to purchase items such as cooking oil, flour, etc, to hitting the tavern on the right day of the week to order a kitchen utensil from the cooking show you watched on your tv that morning. Out of all the ones I’ve played to this day, BTN still holds true to me. Also, of all the games in the series, it’s the last time you could interact with Elli, and actually Marry, before for reasons unknown, they ignorantly wiped her off the board and made her into a background character in the other games. I will refrain from expressing my opinion on this considering how many back in the day had her as a strong favorite too. Now, comparing to the N64, Wii, Gamecube, yes, controls were an adjustment to get use to. However it didn’t take long to adapt, and it did simplify when it came to planting and watering since it lined you up. While I still prefer the freedom of movement, definitely wasn’t a deal breaker, and as I stated, didn’t take long to adjust. Now, as far as the supplier that I bought this from, JRG Utah, holy hell they are Amazing! I ordered this with knowledge I’d get it after Christmas, wake up today, on Chris.
What the hell, a tame, dull sounding, pathetic looking farming simulator recieving a high score. If you say that and believe it than a true gamer you are not. There is no violence, no gore, no language , no nothing in this. So why is this so much fun? I will explain to the gore hounds out there. The idea behind Harvest Moon is that you have inherited a farm from your Grandfather who has passed away, it is a wreck. The field is full of weeds, rocks, and sticks and trees, all needed to be removed in order to make a profit. The mayor gives you an ultimatum, although very nice, is very stern. YOu have tree years to bring the farm up to the way it once was or else you will kicked out of town. There are really only two ways to lose this game.A) Completely neglect your farm.B) Ignore the town folk.In other words you have to bring the farm to prosperity, but also become friends with the locals. The top part is simple enough, clear out a patch to start and plant some grass, trust me I will explain. You can gather roots and berries in the woods and that will supply some minor income. Use your tools often and do some mining, upgrade your tools so that you can completely clear ou the field. As for become friendly with the locals, it translates to, marry one of the townsfolk Daughters. I ended up getting wed to Pouporri, the chicken farmer sister. You need to find out what they like, attend as many festivals as you can, and upgrade upgrade upgrade everything, especially your hous.
My mom and I have been playing this game off and on since I was young, about 20 years ago if my memory serves me right. I bought a replacement because I broke the last copy we had. Both the disc and the case are in MUCH better condition than the shop listed, as the game came out of the shipping package as if it were new! It also arrived on time and packaged neatly.
I am really enjoying this game; it has a lot more depth of play than the previous two installments I played as a kid; Harvest Moon for SNES, and Harvest Moon 64 for the N64. There’s a lot to do, in fact you’re going to have to play the game quite a few times if you want to do it all. There are five girls you can romance and a diverse cast of characters to make friends with. You have a large assortment of crops that are unique to Spring, Summer and Autumn; more than either of the other two i named. The cooking mini-game is great, and gives you something extra special to do with some of those extra crops! There are also fun mini games that take place at different festivals. The harvest sprites play a more active role, basically functioning as a kind of hired help you can assign to various simple tasks around your farm. Now for the bad; the music is upbeat but can be a little repetitive- the other thing that can be a bit repetitive is some of the townsfolk dialogue. In the previous two versions characters would say different things depending on the weather, upcoming festivals and the season. In this one I think it is entirely dependent on affection, which is a hidden score that tallies how much they like you. If you fail to make friends say, with the grocer, he will always say the same thing depending on where you talk to him. "I’m to my ears in bills!" Also the swimming festival can be quite frustrating; it took me something like 20 tries to get that power berry. The s.
Your a kid that has inherited a farm and you have to keep it afloat for four years. Everyday you wake up and feed your animals, play with your dog and horse, and water plants. Sounds boring huh? For some reason it really isn’t! There are hidden items that you can sell and people you can become friends with, creating little cute scenes between the characters. You can even get married and have a baby! I truly recommend this game, i like it even better than the PS2 one!
