The game is fun :) The moves for each character are different but it is easy enough that you don’t have to memorize button sequences to get the job done. I love how you can change the outfits in skirmish once you beat a character’s story line. Also the games has unlockable extras (woot!) that include screen captures and art, movies, and music. The game play is smooth and not to hard for the average person. I LOVE how they put a dialogue history (log) and fast forward (FF) option on the cut scenes.They also added footage from the anime on each character’s storyline which i thought was a nice touch (and skippable if necessary). Overall the game is fantastic, it had an item and level based system that makes me keep playing for hours. And I am still playing to get all the items. I have to admit I have not tried the online store yet.I only have one source of contention…the bandana. It is the reason why this great game only gets four stars. Though I hate to do it, it is an overall product rating. The bandana looked and felt like poor quality (for a bandana). It is made out of wall scroll material or a meshy type if you don’t own a wall scroll. I liked the images they chose for it but the thing isn’t made for what it is named. They should of called it a mini poster or wall scroll rather than a bandana. Oh well I can guess most of us will be hanging it up anyway. :p
The game came in good packaging along with a special cloth poster which was a nice surprise. Whoop for extra stuff! (^o^)/ In terms of the game itself, I enjoy it despite the fact that the stories are a bit short and the game difficulty isn’t very fitting and there really isn’t much to the game, but I am happy with this purchase :) Plus who doesn’t like playing a game set from the other parties point of view in regards to an otome game
Well, don’t expect an otome fighting game to be super great because it’s not it’s an OK game the story is a little odd and the controls leave a lot to be desired but if you like Hakuoki it’s worth playing if only once.

I am a big Hakuoki fan, but this game was a bit disappointing. As always, the graphics and colorfulness is beautifully done; but the concept is bleh. Doing the same ol’ hack-n-slash over and over again. I would highly recommend to the fan girls to play their otome novelty game of theirs, Demon of the Fleeting Blossom. I literally stayed up till 4AM playing it! xD MORE OTOME GAMES TO AMERICA PLEASE!
