It was a gift to my grandson . He loves it .
is very good
game came fast in excellent quality
PHYSICS AND HANDLING – excellent – they hit the sweet spot – hit a corner fast on good line – tires squeel and smoke, rear end gets light but not squirley.DIFFICULTY 5 choices (GOOD JOB CM)- I’m a casual gamer, play on very easy and I get a fun challenging race. Win percent about 10% – easy to finish top 5, must drive a great race to win.GRAPHICS & SOUND – Cars and tracks look outstahnding, no frame rate drops. Sound – hey its race cars nuff said.AI – Much improved but not there yet. Stil too much banging and rear ending – tuff to drive completely clean race. As I race it geats better. They dropped junker figure 8 – Yeah.Dropped cockpit view, always just a novelty for me. Instead you get more and better tracks – I like the trade-off.What I hoped for and expected – playing the heck out of it.
great price showed up fast.
I’ve been following this game since it’s release last week. I had read all the disgruntled reviews here and elsewhere, but also saw some of the top gaming sites rate this game fairly well. So yesterday, I got the game.First, some background on me. I’ve played video games for decades, and my favorite genre is racing games. I’ve played most of the top known racing series (NFS, GT, etc). I’m no where near a pro at these games, but I tend to find myself competitive against AI and human opponents.Graphics are amazing. Granted, we are nearing the end of this console generation, so there are a few moments that the graphics are not top notch HD quality (like when viewing the computer monitor at the main menu screen..it can seem a little blurred). That’s okay for me. The menu or doesn’t have to be top quality HD, and I’m only distracting myself if I’m paying that much attention to whether or not the background has HD quality textures while I’m racing at over 100mph anyway (more often than not, the graphics are sharp though). There are more objects in the backgrounds – people don’t look like cardboard cut outs, and additional background elements like trees, rocks, and cliffs not only add to the realistic view but can create a hazard while racing. Additionally, the tracks look believable, especially the city courses. In many games, city tracks look like race courses with some city buildings in the background. In Grid 2, barriers don’t look permanent, they look like something set up just.
very good product has high quality and is of very good material, I recommend the product for buyers in this class.
After the first hour or two of playing this game, I actually gave it three stars and didn’t even bother writing a review. However, after about 10 hours worth of gameplay, I’ve decided to readdress my initial rating of the game and write a review that might help some folks out there. For starters, I’m a HUGE fan of the Gran Turismo series and Codemasters recent run of Formula 1 games. Having spent countless hours on these “simulator” style racing games, my initial reaction to Grid 2 was rather negative as I was expecting the wrong thing. This game is, by far, more of an arcade racer than anything else and it leaves out many things that gamers have grown used to and probably take for granted now (more on that in a bit). But if you stick with it and change your perception of what this game “should” be to what it actually is, I found it to be fun, exciting, and addicting.First, the good – This game is fun and full of heart-pumping excitement that only an arcade-style racer can provide. The AI is (can be) skilled and mean as hell, but this only lends to the “edge of your seat” action (I know I’m using a lot of cliches, but they fit!). The graphics are decent and the sound is great. The courses vary from straight-forward to roller coaster style rides that keep you guessing. The various racing styles from elimination to liveroute keep you engaged and force you to be at the top of your game. Also, the sense of speed is presented very well in this one. And, for a change, a ra.
I started the game but couldn’t continue playing due to other obligations, but what i saw in the first couple of races was WOW.starts with hard challenging drift races. Keep it codemasters.
I got this along with the original GRID after playing a demo for 2 and loved it. While it was good, I was slightly disappointed when I found out it didn’t have a Demolition Derby mode and the online only went up to like 30, but after a patch that raised the cap AND gave a free add on for the Demo Derby I was satisfied with all there was in it.
