Very fun. This is top 3 comic book games ive played. The character creation powers makes this game a thrill to play through. So many fun moments in here.You fight enemies, earn points, apply points to upgrade the ring, unlock creations & increase power. I played through this game 2 times. Its fairly quick to beat , so i played it again with the upgrades i unlocked previously. Love games that let you keep your upgrades
You get to play as Green Lantern and the design/gameplay is simple. The game will go by fast, but the powers you get and the comic-like graphics make for a very entertaining game. It is two player (local) where one person is Hal Jordan and the other is Sinestro. The two “bad” things about this game are co-op is ONLY local and replay is limited (though you do get to keep all upgrades and have chapter select which makes beating the game on Emerald difficulty simple enough).Fun, cheap, easy, and if you have a buddy to join in co-op locally, by all means…pound the Manhunters!
I played this game every day until my 5 year old and myself beat it, yes my 5 year old was able to figure out how to do the weapon upgrades, assign constructs and leverage powers. He knew when to hit stuff with hammer, use mines, and loved the “mech suit” and higher powered constructs at the end. This game was so much fun to play with my kid it was probably one of the most fun two player games since Lego Indiana Jones 2.The good is that the game has a really good story, the character is in line with Ryan Reynolds character from the movie and you learn more about the Lanterns and missions. It isn’t based on the plot in the movie at all for the most part (though a little bit about the yellow fear energy being the center). So you feel like it’s all new, the relationship you see building between Hal Jordon and Sinestro is a nice touch as Sinestro gains more respect for Hal.Game is all about attacking, combo’s and using your cool ring constructs in different situations. It is fun though I will say the game is a little short, but does have replay value on the higher difficulty setting.
Nowadays, every time there is a major comic-book based movie, there is a video game to go along with it. Most of them aren’t very good at all. Therefore, I wasn’t expecting much from GREEN LANTERN: RISE OF THE MANHUNTERS. I thought the game would be a silly replay of the movie with no additional story value, difficult gameplay, and terrible graphics. I was surprised to discover this is not the case.The game is a tie-in, but not a video game adaptation of the movie. The main storyline (campaign) takes place either right after the GREEN LANTERN movie. The body of Abin Sur is returned to Oa for a proper burial but just afterwards the planet is attacked by Manhunters, a race of androids created by the Guardians as their first police force. However, the Manhunters became more interested in punishing creatures instead of serving them, so their ranks were dissolved. Someone has now united the Manhunters in a master plan to destroy the Green Lantern Corp, the Guardians, and Oa. Disobeying orders from the Guardians, Hal Jordan sets out to find out exactly what is going on. He’s joined on his quest by Kilowog and Sinestro.The game looks gorgeous and even comes with some 3D glasses that if you have a hi-def set up allows for some 3D effects. I also liked that Ryan Reynolds is the voice of Hal Jordan in the game. The game has just the right balance between simplicity and difficulty; it’s not too difficult for beginning gamers to play and defeat, yet not so easy that an experienced gamer.

Lots of fun, almost on par with the arkham asylum as far as graphics and replay!Many different constructs to chose from, and all action.
It is Green Lantern! Who does not like Green Lantern? Good story, fun game. May not be for very young players.
got this game for my nephew and i played through so i can help him. this game is fun but is a little more dificult than you’d think. that adds to the fun though
