This game is great, it is violent and bad but you know you gotta have fun every once in awhile why not with video games, i dont even play the missions in this game i just go around and go crazy. GREAT GAME.
Grand Theft Auto has always been a hit on PS2 which includes GTA 1, 2, 3 and Vice City. Now Rockstar has decided that the hit series will make it onto Xbox. YES! This package comes with Grand Theft Auto 3 and Grand Theft Auto Vice City and they are both games that cannot be missed!Graphics: The graphics in GTA are superb. And whats better is that they are Xbox enhanced making the graphics even better then the ones in the PS2 version. The chracter models are pretty good, not the best, but still very good. The only thing in terms of graphics that might need a little bit of work on before GTA San Andreas comes out for Xbox is the actual background animation. But other then that, the graphics are great!Gameplay: The gameplay is probobly the best aspect of the entire game! The controls are fairly easy to get used to and there is so much that you can actually do! From random shootings, to cop chases/fights, to even playing basketball! Did i mention…..Uhh, maybe thats not suitable for a review! To wrap the gameplay feature up, it is definetely one of the best out of all the Xbox games and adds to the reasons why you should definetely pick this one up from the shelves!Audio: The soundtrack in GTA is also great. With songs wih rock/rage rock theme to them, this feature will have you sitting down listening to the music rather then actually playing the game!The only problem with this game is that there is no online support which i thought was a real bummer!As a result, this game is DE.
I’d like to start this review by saying these are 2 of the BEST games I’ve ever played on any console (both were fist released for the PS2 console and later for the PC.) Finally the game(s) that xbox fans have been waiting a LONG time for are back with a avengence. Now it may look like the ps2 game but rockstar made little improvements to detail our hero (from GTA III) now sports a leather jacket (did I see this on the ps2 version?) the cars and textures are now more realistic and smoother (I thought) the rain effects were cool and colors are bright and vibrant. The controls for both games are customizable (the default controls just don’t do it for me) Even though I have already played both these games countless times (many many sleepless nights) its the playability and fun factor of both games that drew me back. The cool thing that I like is the custom soundtrack aka cd changer option or tape deck in vice city (this may not be a big deal to most but it was a welcome addition in my eyes (not that there’s anything wrong with Liberty’s fine radio stations or even Vice City’s for that matter) its just I like to listen to toonz more suited to my listening preferences. This REALLY is a welcome addition to any xbox gamers game collection EVEN if you have already played it on the PS2 or were frustrated with the PC version maybe perhaps due not having enough memory or something else PCs require its worth picking up and playing again (well you knew that already) I want to give t.

Here’s my take on the Doublepack which is way overdue, but finely tuned for the XBOX system making the wait seem moot. The PlayStation2 verson lacked the ability to add custom tracks to either game, simply because the Hard Drive doesn’t come out until Q1-2004. However, even with the expected arrival of the 40 GB Drive that launches with Final Fantasy XI, GTA owners still won’t be able to customize the game for their feel unless an enhanced version is released. Now, you have both games at top-PC quality level (perhaps above -no fiddling with graphics cards and audio cards, just place the DVD-disc in and go) both graphically and in audio. The way these 2 games were meant to look, sound and feel. Load your music, and ride into the cruel streets of Liberty & Vice Cities. Another fine XBOX release and for the price, unbeatable.
What can I say about GTA that hasn’t arealdy been said. The game is friggen great. I cannot think of a game that I more fun. The down side to this double pack is that it took forever to come out. I got so used to playing them on my PC that I couldn’t get the hang of playing them on Xbox. I definitly recommend getting the game, whether it if for Xbox, PC, or PS2 is up to which controler, play style you like.Happy Gaming.
I DON’T CONDONE VIOLENCE OF ANY KIND BUT GRAND THEFT AUTO 3 IS ALOT OF FUN.YOU EXPLORE DIFFERENT CITIES WHILE PLAYING THE GAME, DRIVING DIFFERENT CARS WHICH YOU TAKE FROM PEOPLE OR RUNNING EM’ OVER AND KNOCKIN’ DOWN POLES AND SHOOTIN’ PEOPLE AIN’T COOL.THE SCENERY IN THE GAME IS PARADISE, BUT THE GANG WAR TURF THING IS WHAT MAKES PEOPLE AND KIDS MINDS WHICH LEAD EM’ DO DOIN’ THAT STUFF IN REAL LIFE PLUS THE STEALING & ROBBIN’ PEOPLE WHICH LEAD EM’ TO JAIL OR LIFE PRISON FOR MURDER.FOR WHOEVER PLAYS THE GAME AND THEIR MINDS IN GOOD SHAPE, NO PROBLEM, IN BAD SHAPE, YOU KNOW THE REST.5 STARS FOR SEEING DIFFERENT PLACES IN DIFFERENT CITIES.5 STARS FOR HAVING A HIDEOUT TO SAVE THE GAME & STORING CARS & BUSES IN THE GARAGE.5 STARS FOR THE SCENERY IN THE GAME.5 STARS FOR DIFFERENT CARS & GRAPHICS IN THE GAME.0 STARS FOR KILLING OTHER PEOPLE & POLICE OFFICERS.0 STARS FOR RUNNIN’ OVER PEOPLE, ROBBIN’ PEOPLE, SHOOTIN’ PEOPLE AND LEAVING EM’ IN A POOL OFBLOOD.5 STARS OVERALL.
These games should have been on the X-Box from the minute the system came out! Finaly we can up stage all of these PS2 Purists!! Because GTA Looks better, plays better and IS better on the X-Box!! As it should, it was better on the PC and Microsoft makes the X-box! This is a total victory for the best system there is!
