Perfect gift!
I know a lot of the allure for the GoW series is because of the multiplayer versus element, however I’ve bought them for the Co-Op gameplay so my review is mainly based upon the campaign. GoW 1 is very drab and grey. The environment is virtually apathetic in every since, and the gameplay can be frustratingly hard at times (the damn krill vehicle sequence) however it is an alright game. GoW 2 however is a really good game. I’ve never seen such attention to detail in video game environment; granted it’s still very colorless.The story for GoW 1 was pretty bad honestly. GoW 2 had a much better story because they actually tried to explain some things.
