I bought this for my 4.5 year old son who has a newfound obsession with tetris. Within the first 15 minutes me and him were arguing over who was going to play. Then i remembered that we can play on the tv. So we did that. This has tons of classic games like contra, excitebike, bomber man, pac man, and of course the super marios. Connecting was very simple as long as it isa tv with a/v ports. The system itself is smaller than a gameboy but still a nice size. The gameplay is pretty reactive and the game does what you want it to when you hit the control. It is much lighter than most hand gaming systems. Unsure what the battery life is fully charged but out of the box we played for 2 hours before a charge was needed. Has not gotten close to getting hot yet. All around, i could jot be happier unless i bought 2. Great product.
It’s really entertaining and I can connect to my TV without any problem. It has many games and I can compete with my boyfriend using the second controller. It’s a good game to pass the time.
If you are looking for a nostalgic gaming device this is it! Right of the bat this device looks like my old Gameboy, except the screen is backlit so you can actually see at night haha! There are many games to choose from, including the classics such as, Super Mario Bros, Dig Dug, Tetris and F1 Racer.Battery life has been very good so far, when the battery is almost drained, I noticed the backlight will start to dim in order to give you a chance to plug in before it shuts down.
This little game is so worth the money! It has a load of games that keeps my little one entertained for hours. We bought this for her while she was away at Grandma’s for the summer. Since my parents aren’t computer savvy at all and have no idea how to hook a game system up to the tv, I figured this would be a easy to use alternative. It worked out great and is very easy to use.
Love this ! So portable and light. Easy to use. We love playing PacMan! It’s super easy to turn on and pick your language preference. Once that’s done pick a game! Play all day!!
I had earlier setup RetroPie for games on Raspberry PI, but it was always difficult to get the games, and most of the times, tough to get the compatible ones, slowness, and came across this console online while shopping. One major advantage is this game console has a built-in display and also can be connected to TV via the AV cables. My favorites are the 90s era games like Mario, Roadfighter, CONTRA. Only wish there were option to connect to controllers, currently has only one controller. I am playing it as well as my older daughter loves the games, and felt a bit different compared to games on Switch and other modern console. good console for classic games.
It is awesome retro handheld game console. I played 2-3 hours first when I got it. It made me remember the old days. It has all the games I liked when I was a child. Contra, Mario, Chip Dale and lots of another. Thank you!
This takes me back to my childhood where I spend countless hours playing video games and having fun. With quarantine and work being boring I am able to entertain myself forever with these games. I love how long I can use this device without having to charge it. I recommend buying this for anyone and definitely one for yourself.
I like the variety of the games included especially the ability for the two-player. My nephew had fun playing the games. With that said, I did not like the RCA cables that came with it (TVs these days have HDMI now). I could even try to figure out an adapter, however, what irked me the most was how short the RCA cable was in the first place. If there was one thing that ruined the experience it would be the short RCA cables as it’s not practical to connect to a TV and play
Hey guys! Wonderful retro games, more than 400! It is like I have returned to the 2000th and playing my dandy console again. mario bross, tanks, tetris – amazing games (who is in his/her late 30th/ early 40th would understand), played almost all evening. If you wanna be back to your childhood, try it! Loved it!
