do you like pulling weeds out of the ground while throwing them at enemies trying to *spoilers* escape from a dream of Mario by *spoilers* throwing vegetables at a giant frog named Wart, than this game is the game for you.
What is there to say about this cartridge? First of all, you are really getting two game: Super Mario Brothers 2 (the SNES version with some enhancements) and a new, upgraded version of Mario Bros. Besides the multiplayer modes and a few little extras here and there, these are the same games they ever were. It might annoy people that they simply repackaged 2 old games, but they are great games (although Mario Bros. is not quite as fun as I remember it, but that’s probably just me). SMB2 is really and original side-scroller, and the multiplayer games are fun and only require 1 cart. It’s not a new mario game, which is disapointed but forgiveable. My main gripe is that they didn’t really add much extra. A few new modes, bosses, an extra charcter, mini-games, anything would have gone a long way.
All of the extra challenges make this game even better. Some things other than that are different, too. I really like all of the Super Nintendo remakes on the game boy advance.
I enjoy this game, even though it’s a little difficult to play. I would recommend this to someone who enjoys the Mario games.
As Promised
I loved this game then and I love it even more now with all the extra goodies.
This game is truly an adventure. It was one of the first and best titles on the GBA. This game is almost as addictive as Tetris. I have played this game for over 50 hours and i’m just at the final level. The beatiful background scenes and vibrant colors make this game one of the best-looking 2-D bgames on the GBA. I highly recommend this game if you are looking for a game that will leave you playing for a while!
The game is fun, and super duper challenging, didn’t want to work when I inserted it my GBM, I was worried since it came with no case and note was sticked in the cartridge, still works fine, I always bring the game to school
Not only did those crazy Nintendo guys bring back one of their great (underated at the time) games. It brings back the original Mario brothers game for an added boost of cartoonishly (kinda close to bad taste even but ah heck)italianism americanism video gaminism. "It-sa’ me Mario." You get to hear goofy voices from good guys and bad guys alike on both games. Not too mention what was missing from the first go ’round, a save function that gives clutzy gamers such as myself a way to beat this thing without sitting up for days hoping the batteries last. New weapons, new moves, new enemies, and surprisingly more fun then I remember from sleep overs at friends…
It worked great thank you.
