It is a good game with a great storyline that takes place near the beginning of GoT. The fighting system was tedious at first, but became more interesting as the game went on, and the story was totally worth it. Great too that the player can make choices and not watch the story unfold but actually interact with it.
so far i have just played about 8 hours, and the plot is very good i like the work they did linking it slightly to GOT universe, but the gameplay is not very good or challenging, any way any gamer fan of GOT must play this one

This game is an RPG based on the Game of Thrones fantasy world. I will open this review by saying that I don’t have any experience with the books or television show associated with this. But the story in this game, while it does reference some things from the books or TV show, you don’t need to know about them in order to understand the game’s story. It does a good job of informing you about who everyone is.The game’s story is fantastic. One of the most interesting stories I’ve seen in a modern RPG in a long time. There is a lot of political intrigue and cultural points. You play as two different characters in the game, switching between them when you switch between chapters. They are two very different types of people, but you never feel like one story is underdeveloped. They will both draw you in. You have a codex in the game that is kind of like an encyclopedia. It fills up as you play the game, explaining things about the world to you. This is very useful if, like me, you haven’t read the books. It is also pretty interesting.The graphics are on the budget end for the PS3. The environments are rether closed-in and you never feel like they are really pushing the PS3’s graphical capabilities. There are a few muddy textures that look like they belong on the PS2. You will also see quite a few repeated character models. But the armors you get and the buildings themselves do have an impressive amount of detail. So the game looks fine, but don’t expect anything stunning.The sound.
Awesome! My son will love it for Christmas. It’s so his favorite game. This will be a wonderful surprise for him.

I enjoyed this game but I must give the caveat that I love almost anything "Game of Thrones" related. I enjoyed the books, the television show, the living card game and the tactical board games (Battles of Westeros).This game gives a look to a time period in the first book of the Song of Ice and Fire series by George R R Martin and for what it is ,it is quite good. If you are looking for an action packed hack and slash game then that is not what you will find here. You will find a game with ok graphics and tactical battles that can be won or lost more easily if a person thinks carefully about the skills a fighter is using and at what time in conjunction to effects being caused by his other fighters. The fighting system has a kind of Advanced Rock Paper Scissors feel to it that isn’t bad. It’s just not an all out action experience.Where this game shines is in the story and it does deliver with relatively few sidetracks of note. the story twists and turns just as someone that enjoys the game of thrones series would expect from a George R R Martin novel. The controls are ok but difficult and clumsy at first to figure out. However don’t take those detractors as anything more than just a criticism. If story is what you are interested in than this game begins to deliver as the story builds to an unforgettable ending. If you are looking for a medieval hack and slash game, seek Dark Souls or Demon Souls. You really do get a felling that the choices that you make.
