The game didnt work sadly but i was refundy money quickly so all in all it was good.
I bought several DS games for my 7 year old son to keep him busy during a 60+ hour cross-country drive. He liked this one more than the other games and said it was one of his all-time favorites. He was happy to play it for many hours. If he’s a happy traveler then I’m happy.
This is a great game for kids. My sons have even more fun now that they each have their own version and can play together. My 16 year-old has rediscovered the game due to his younger brother getting it for Christmas. They say it’s the best of the Fossil Fighters 3DS games.
Both me and my son play Fossil Fighters. This is a fun game you get to dig up fossils and clean them to reveal pieces of different types of dinosaurs. When you clean a new head, you get a new dino. But there are few actual adventures, mostly just collecting and digging up bones and occasional fighting with other fossil fighters. After level 4 not much else happens in this game, or if it does it is so difficult that you can’t find the next adventure. But lots of fun to play.

So… This is the start of what became of my favorite Game Franchises of all time. You play as a boy who’s appearance depends on what vivosaur (The game will explain that fun bit) you chose as your favorite in the beginning of the game (If you want to play as a Girl, play the sequel-Fossil Fighters Champions or its last game Fossil Fighters Frontier). Then you are on your way to becoming a Master Fossil Fighter. Each “level†has its bosses, and each chapter has its own story that makes a bigger story as you “evolve†in becoming a Master Fighter (Heh. Dino pun.). Along the way, you meet wacky and cool characters like Nick Nack, Woolbeard, and the “helpful†Rosie and Holt. Battle other Fighters, the dreaded (and cartoony) BB Brigade, and the unknown threats called (#NotGonnaSpoilGame)-Just know there is a harder foe, lol. So, grab a copy of the game and voyage Vivosaur Island and play Today!Graphics are comparable to Pokémon games of this time, the graphics of the Battles however are truly remarkable, better at this time than even Super Mario 64 DS! The Story is super good and well done. The Characters are creative and well played out… The Main Boss Fights are good. The Final Boss Battle is just the right speed if you worked hard enough for it. Strategy is the best weapon here, as is knowing the playing field. It’s a lot of fun, and would gladly see any Pokémon player coming to this game.

My son is 8 and loves this game. At first he struggled ( lots of reading ) but he figured it out and now can barely put it down.
I originally got this because one of my favorite youtubers recommended it, and so far, I really enjoy playing it. The story is fun and just the right amount of ridiculous. The graphics aren’t the best, but the tone of the game make it work, and it’s just a good time all around.
